grammar does not however, there are so many people now a days that lack ability to speak English so i'm not surprised they cannot spell ether.
second. marketing ploys. i have learned a lot more of them are automated lately, so this will be the responsibility of the Moderators and admins to identify and remove said comments (imo)
I'm aware of that; however, the people I complained about are native speakers! As a former TEFL teacher, I would never mock someone if English is not their native language. But if you're a native speaker and don't know the difference between "advise" and "advice", it's just plain wrong!
I used to feel the same as you when it came to spelling and grammatical errors. After having spent some time helping some Japanese friends learn English, I have since changed my mind. I think we should reconsider Ben Franklin's advice and redo our alphabet. There no reason to keep a system that's not phonetically consistent. Heck, maybe "advise" should be spelled "advize" or even "adviz". It's just a thought. Or should I say IMNSHO? Punctuation, however, is a completely different story.
You're right. But it's like that with everything in life. Other drivers, shoppers, phone solicitors, etc., sometimes people suck. Grow thicker skin and deal with it like we all do, don't let it get to you.
Oh, while I have your attention: What bakpac and sleping bag shud I by?
is there a possibility the first poster didn't know about the GSI? Is there a possibility the second poster was so new they didn't understand alochol as an option? The forum is a place to discuss. Discussions do include possible options they may not be aware of.
-Plus, guys that post replies only recommending American made products and bash imports. The PatrIDIOTs.
-Guys who complain about a recommendation because he is too poor to buy the product. Now, how are we suppose to know his income?
Yes, spell check or abbrev.
I assume you were a real English teacher rather then one of those guys who like to go to Asia and have relationships with children posing as a English teacher. Most so called English teachers fall into the latter.
becaz you see eyes AN American without one of them maps.
English is such a inconsistent, non scientific language.
A linguist's nightmare.
If I had it my way I would design a language using Chinese characters (most efficient written language) combined with Korean grammar (most scientific grammar according to webster) and Latin vocabulary (politically neutral).
i agree with alot of your compaints except for the first one. Often Ive asked for a comparison between two and most probably other items will be recommended. And more often than not one of those items will rival the ones I chose or be a better choice.
Jason this is a great video ,I agree with you on all aspects here it does get out of hand at times when you ask a question and there are 5 others that respond to the question asking another question geesh nerve racking
I'm looking to find a good backpacking (ultralight) forum to get involved in. Any recommendations?

I've been to Holland, and they use punctuation marks there too. So that excuse simply isn't good enough.

I totally agree that some people don't think before they post. But you're driving yourself nuts by making it a problem.

"PatrIDIOTs", I LOVE it!
Actually, I was an English teacher in the U.S. I was also a TEFL trainer in Costa Rica, China, and Mexico. Never had a propensity for "the latter".
