The unruly injustices in this system are sickening. This young lady was already flourishing on becoming a greatly educated woman. Due to the awful sociological/environmental factors she experienced demented her mentality and deteriorated her way of thinking.Yes she deserves punishment to a lesser extent perhaps in the form of education in order to reintegrate her back to society with the goal of appraising human life.
Youths are in dire need of counseling not punishment.

This was a 16 year old girl who had been sexually abused from the age of 13 a girl with absolutely no one to talk to and with constant threats of rape and sexual violence if you went to the police can anyone honestly say that they would go to the police anyway?

This made me cry...I really hope she gets out. My mother was on drugs very heavily and it wasnt nothing but the grace of God that kept me from being raped and violated. Sadly, my mother died at the age of 41. She was young and I was left to figure out this cold cold world all on my own. I still hurt over some of the things I had to go through but I guess it dosent compare to this young ladies pain...stay strong my sista, stay strong.

@DarkprinX2500 Wow, it's been quite a while since I posted those comments! =P Anyway, I believe that Marlboro isn't at fault for people dying of lung cancer. They aren't forcing people to smoke. People are just idiots and decide it's a cool idea to inhale poisonous substances on a regular basis. And I only think murderers should receive the death penalty, and only if a substantial amount of evidence is given which leaves not even the possibility of a doubt that they are guilty.

@DarkprinX2500 So in the end the real problem is not with cigarettes or with people smoking cigarettes, but massive, corrupt corporations that bribe senators and ignite wars for profit. Those people are committing heinous crimes that cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, and lower the quality of life of nearly everyone in every economy. If anybody deserves life in prison with no parole, it is the CEO's and CFO's of those companies.
