Only about 2 yrs ago, had sleep paralysis and was attacked by something size of a dog, felt malevolent and animal-like, moved superfast through walls. Had my eyes open and got a good look at it, hard to describe but it seemed like a 3d mass and the space or reality it occupied was crumpled up like paper or smoky cellophane. Does anyone consider or imagine that are brains are plugged into some type of virtual interface 24/7, like in the movies The Matrix and 12 Monkeys, and these shadow people, etc. are our watchers or keepers, and maybe they do in fact feed off of our emotions and programm our perceptive and subjective reality. That we are truly, spiritually enslaved by a sentient being. I find our addiction and dependance on electronic, artificial intelligence to be so anti humanist and cannot shake this ideal.
The one that plagued me wore a fedora. I've heard of a lot of people seeing them with top hats, but a few have seen fedoras and derby hats. Ever since I stopped being afraid, he stopped coming around. Sometimes when they show up, they will start off by radiating fear. Once the initial fear wave subsides, they expect you to continue being afraid. If you counter with positivity once the fear begins to wane (in my case, I use my faith in God's protection), they can't do squat and move on.

till today i haven't seen the man with a hat. Till now i've seen only shadows. They bend over my bed and looking at me or are in the corner of my bed and watching over me. I've been attacked as well. But man in a hood/hat or the old hag haven't seen any till now. I prefer these shadows over them. But i'm still very scared to sleep in dark.

I saw the tall one. It had the hat, but I don't remember the cape, but something has been with me for 4 years now and touches me on my back every single day for 4 years. I had something visit me about this time last year. I was sleeping on my stomach when I felt the sensation something walking on the mattress... then i felt something touch my right ankle. I've always encountered strange activities even when i was younger, but it's very rare if i see anything more than feel energies. Before i saw two figures hanging on my door like bats when i was around 8 and recently i've been hearing footsteps outside my gate and i see shadows outside my gate to my apartment, but i've never been able to catch whatever it is. I thought it was an animal at first, but as soon as I look up I don't hear the footsteps anymore. It happened three days in a row.

I know it sounds really strange, but that's all I can say about it, it was so quick and it didn't look like it was that far away either.. but that fact that we both saw it confirms for me that something definitely passed by us. A couple of seconds later me and my wife (She was in the passenger seat) were like wth was that. After we saw that we both stayed quite a long pause until I asked her if she saw anything and then when I explained it she told me she had seen the same thing. I have seen these beings three times.. One of these times being while I was driving a night on a highway.. I was with my family, but the strange part was that this being wasn't exactly shaped like a person the other ones I saw and yes they are fast very fast. Well, if this is true, I'm glad that I didn't see the one with a top hat. The shadow person I saw just last didn't evoke fear in my...he just startled me. I say "he" because he had a manly figure. I haven't seen one of these shadow people since I was about 3 years old until last week.
I prefer my older Hi8 camcorder to the miniDV one I have now... The Hi8 feels like a camera, the DV feels like a toy. Also the Hi8s have better Nightvision IR sensors so I hear (didn't try) that they pick up ghosties easier.

My brother saw a bunch of little shadows running around his room and he freaked out and went to my room, I've experienced them too but I'm not afraid and i RARELY see them because I just laugh at them but what freaks me out is that at the bottom crack of my door at night I see figures moving back and forth and across the other room facing my door so one way to get rid of these guys is to not be afraid and laugh at them and theyll leave you alone.

on the lucid dreams & astral stuff...I've had a good deal of various stages of lucid dreams along with what I consider astral dreams. The lucid dreams are pretty good as you have some control with your actions/movements and lack of fear. The astral dreams I've had are more like...I'm aware of other beings - say in my house, as if another dimension & I'm trying to get back into my body, but fear of the beings & wanting to hide from them keep me from going more lucid or waking....(cont'd)
@dreamconscious cont'd - on the astral dreams...they freak me out...where I wake up a bit shaken up & have to calm myself with positive thoughts / meditation. Also in the astral dreams (not sure if that's what its called, that's what I call it)...there are beings animal or human...that also fly by really fast, but in color...not shadow, but definitely spirit type (or lurking around and can hear or feel their presence). I have no interest/desire to be in that astral realm...too scary :/

I use to have alot of dreams that I would be flying through a building trying to get out, once bursting through a beautiful stained glass window & was free...but then flew through a storm, above stormy waters. Other times flying near attic ceilings trying to get out...& one time large gaping openings in the ceiling so I could fly out through there. (cont'd)

But the eerie ones I mentioned before are different, I'll see family member/s, but see or hear other beings, well, its kinda hard to explain...but I think its the in between place of being - just before waking...like the conscious travels through levels of consciousness or something...I dunno how to explain it...it feels like an eerie dimension tho that I want to wake up from....thankfully those are seldom :).
I also have issues with cameras and editing. I have encounterd many shadow people and they are all super nice and loving and told me to Belive in God and Jesus. They are also around 5 feet tall and walk at a normal pace. My gut felt they are past relatives or the only people that actually watch my videos :P

Interesting theories. I'm... not sure... what these things are. I saw a top hat Shadow person, and I was not scared at all. However, after doing some research on them, the idea of what is saw is much scarier than the actual experience.
A few months ago I woke up in the night but I couldn't move and felt that a big heavy presence was holding me down, then I saw what looked like 6 or 7 small animated grey beings stood around me in a circle. I got the impression that they were trying to get me to do something. In my early twenties I was visited on numerous occasions at night by a being that just looked like a black shadow. It used to sit and talk to me but I could never take any of it in. I saw one walk through a wall once.
I believe I saw one stand in the corner watch me play when I was a boy. The coat and hat part is spot on. Also when I was a boy I now know I astral projected. I sat up saw a spirit of an old woman sort of tidying up my room she saw me sit up looked at me and did a "sshhh" sound and I recall going back into bed? (body) and not being able to scream or move being paralyzed then I just fell asleep. I was 8 then? Maybe 6. I'm 38 now and I still recall it so vividly.

In my dreams i was chased by a woman in white dress, with long dark hair and a blurry face. Somethimes she's aggressive, somethimes she isn't. I remember one time she took my hand and gave me a lesson on how to fly.
So crazy that you mention being chased in your dreams because that is a reacurring nightmare of mine forever. Next time I have it I will try to stop and look but I don't know if I will be able to because I am so terrified for my life.
i've seen a short hooded figure move quickly in a mirror in my basement. a couple years after that in the middle of the night i saw one literally up against my bed. i thought it was my pillow that had fallen and was leaning on the bed until i reached for it and there was nothing there. i saw the top hat man a couple years after that around age 16. a couple months ago (im now 25) i saw a shadow figure with wings. i've never felt like i was in danger though. startled sure, but not deathly afraid.

What are the tall hooded creatures I have heard many people talk about including two of my children and one of their friends? I have not seen this thing, but have felt like I was being watched while in yard.
@purity4all the tall shadow people i feel are around certain people due to the negativity thats surrounds them.. aka house hold drama. but many in the ufo community have reported the tall shadow beings during a contact.. its all up in the air.. if u feel ur being watch , it wouldnt hurt to take some pictures around the home and land to see if u catch anything odd , like orbs or darkshadows..
You can fight them with Magick & sorcery...prayer works to...the key is never fearing them as long as your not afraid they don't have that much power.

I have been seeing them in my dreams. The little ones. it's only when i'm in the room by myself. But the dreams feel so real. Everything is the same in the dream as it is in the room and i always wake up shortly after scared and breathless. I even thought it was my daughter at first. All they do is run around my bed. @SHACKTRESS It's a possibility that I've might seen one. Unsure if it could have been a helicopter. I don't think the shadow people has anything to do with the military but something of a higher/different nature with different agendas. A watcher of some sort. Maybe a soul seeker. I do believe strongly in paranormal activities that exist out there (the unexplained). I'm also very spiritual. @SHACKTRESS I don't know it's a female, it just has the shape of a female. And it's been going on since I was small. I was between 4-5 when it started and I am now 29. It's not on-going, but it does seem to like to surprise me when it confronts me. I'm really confused about what it wants and what it is.

The one that plagued me wore a fedora. I've heard of a lot of people seeing them with top hats, but a few have seen fedoras and derby hats. Ever since I stopped being afraid, he stopped coming around. Sometimes when they show up, they will start off by radiating fear. I saw the tall one. It had the hat, but I don't remember the cape, but something has been with me for 4 years now and touches me on my back every single day for 4 years. I had something visit me about this time last year. I was sleeping on my stomach when I felt the sensation something walking on the mattress... then i felt something touch my right ankle. I opened my eyes but I couldn't move.. I wasn't scared, but I could sense something in the room with me... Before i saw two figures hanging on my door like bats when i was around 8 and recently i've been hearing footsteps outside my gate and i see shadows outside my gate to my apartment, but i've never been able to catch whatever it is. I know it sounds really strange, but that's all I can say about it, it was so quick and it didn't look like it was that far away either.. but that fact that we both saw it confirms for me that something definitely passed by us. A couple of seconds later me and my wife (She was in the passenger seat) were like wth was that. After we saw that we both stayed quite a long pause until I asked her if she saw anything and then when I explained it she told me she had seen the same thing. It was a shadow being so dark you could distinguish it from the darkness if the night, with my headlights shining, I know we both definitely saw something we got a very creepy feeling out of it. I was with my family, but the strange part was that this being wasn't exactly shaped like a person the other ones I saw and yes they are fast very fast. What I saw that night looked like a person with wings, it was more animal like for two split seconds. My brother saw a bunch of little shadows running around his room and he freaked out and went to my room, I've experienced them too but I'm not afraid and i RARELY see them because I just laugh at them but what freaks me out is that at the bottom crack of my door at night I see figures moving back and forth and across the other room facing my door so one way to get rid of these guys is to not be afraid and laugh at them and theyll leave you alone.

on the lucid dreams & astral stuff...I've had a good deal of various stages of lucid dreams along with what I consider astral dreams. The lucid dreams are pretty good as you have some control with your actions/movements and lack of fear. The astral dreams I've had are more like...I'm aware of other beings - say in my house, as if another dimension & I'm trying to get back into my body, but fear of the beings & wanting to hide from them keep me from going more lucid or waking....(cont'd)

@dreamconscious cont'd - on the astral dreams...they freak me out...where I wake up a bit shaken up & have to calm myself with positive thoughts / meditation. Also in the astral dreams (not sure if that's what its called, that's what I call it)...there are beings animal or human...that also fly by really fast, but in color...not shadow, but definitely spirit type (or lurking around and can hear or feel their presence). I have no interest/desire to be in that astral realm...too scary :/

@SHACKTRESS hehe....me neither, I'm more like an explorer, picking up bits of info here & there :) It's all rather interesting :). I use to have alot of dreams that I would be flying through a building trying to get out, once bursting through a beautiful stained glass window & was free...but then flew through a storm, above stormy waters. Other times flying near attic ceilings trying to get out...& one time large gaping openings in the ceiling so I could fly out through there. (cont'd)

But the eerie ones I mentioned before are different, I'll see family member/s, but see or hear other beings, well, its kinda hard to explain...but I think its the in between place of being - just before waking...like the conscious travels through levels of consciousness or something...I dunno how to explain it...it feels like an eerie dimension tho that I want to wake up from....thankfully those are seldom :).

I also have issues with cameras and editing. I have encounterd many shadow people and they are all super nice and loving and told me to Belive in God and Jesus. They are also around 5 feet tall and walk at a normal pace. My gut felt they are past relatives or the only people that actually watch my videos :P
I also saw this Orb that gave me that feeling of somone stareing at me....then when I tried to point it out to somone it went like warp speed behind a tree.

Interesting theories. I'm... not sure... what these things are. I saw a top hat Shadow person, and I was not scared at all. However, after doing some research on them, the idea of what is saw is much scarier than the actual experience.

A few months ago I woke up in the night but I couldn't move and felt that a big heavy presence was holding me down, then I saw what looked like 6 or 7 small animated grey beings stood around me in a circle. I got the impression that they were trying to get me to do something. In my early twenties I was visited on numerous occasions at night by a being that just looked like a black shadow. It used to sit and talk to me but I could never take any of it in. I saw one walk through a wall once.

I believe I saw one stand in the corner watch me play when I was a boy. The coat and hat part is spot on. Also when I was a boy I now know I astral projected. I sat up saw a spirit of an old woman sort of tidying up my room she saw me sit up looked at me and did a "sshhh" sound and I recall going back into bed? (body) and not being able to scream or move being paralyzed then I just fell asleep. I was 8 then? Maybe 6. I'm 38 now and I still recall it so vividly.

In my dreams i was chased by a woman in white dress, with long dark hair and a blurry face. Somethimes she's aggressive, somethimes she isn't. I remember one time she took my hand and gave me a lesson on how to fly.

i've seen a short hooded figure move quickly in a mirror in my basement. a couple years after that in the middle of the night i saw one literally up against my bed. i thought it was my pillow that had fallen and was leaning on the bed until i reached for it and there was nothing there. i saw the top hat man a couple years after that around age 16. a couple months ago (im now 25) i saw a shadow figure with wings. i've never felt like i was in danger though. startled sure, but not deathly afraid.

@purity4all the tall shadow people i feel are around certain people due to the negativity thats surrounds them.. aka house hold drama. but many in the ufo community have reported the tall shadow beings during a contact.. its all up in the air.. if u feel ur being watch , it wouldnt hurt to take some pictures around the home and land to see if u catch anything odd , like orbs or darkshadows..

I have been seeing them in my dreams. The little ones. it's only when i'm in the room by myself. But the dreams feel so real. Everything is the same in the dream as it is in the room and i always wake up shortly after scared and breathless. I even thought it was my daughter at first. All they do is run around my bed. And they are very fast and dark but look like children. It's been happening more and more recently but only to me.

I disagree on the 2 seconds of death part. i saw one when I was young. wasn't scared but very curious. didn't get that death feeling like you did. only saw it once. when i saw it i first put my hand through it and then it just slowly faded away. had a top hat and a long coat. still trying to figure out more about it. some say they are good. some say they are bad. i think they are neither good or bad. whatever they are, the worste thing you can do...is show fear

@SHACKTRESS It's a possibility that I've might seen one. Unsure if it could have been a helicopter. I don't think the shadow people has anything to do with the military but something of a higher/different nature with different agendas. A watcher of some sort. Maybe a soul seeker. I do believe strongly in paranormal activities that exist out there (the unexplained). I'm also very spiritual. Would that have anything to do with the siting? after over 20 yrs, i'm still trying to figure it out. lol.

The ones that I encounter, seem to mimic the shape of my sister (yes she's still alive), and its all black, kind of floats and seems to like to come at me face to face. @SHACKTRESS I don't know it's a female, it just has the shape of a female. And it's been going on since I was small. I was between 4-5 when it started and I am now 29. It's not on-going, but it does seem to like to surprise me when it confronts me. I'm really confused about what it wants and what it is.

I go see them sometimes and ask them questions and shit. I usualy don't sleep for one or two days to intensify the experience. They don't only have two shapes tho, they'll take the shape of anything from what I've seen.I've just learned this morning that they were actualy called shadow people. I've been communicating with them for quite some time.I just go where I go, tell 'em to show themselves and they creep all arround. @SHACKTRESS Me and my friend saw the first one. He was sitting there in an arm chair with a top hat and trench coat type thing. Second one I was by the woods with another one of my friends. It stood there and watched us. It was around 3 or 4 in the morning. And anyways, that one gave off a really bad vibe unlike the other one. It definitely didn't want us there. We tried ignoring it, but it threw a rock at us that landed a few feet away. Lol, we left immediately. They wont kill you, though.

I saw a shadow guy with a brimmed hat , standing by my bed one night .. i rolled over and .. there he was .. freaked me out.. I'm quite sure my house is creepy (120+y/o)..
.. I 'd like to know what that thing was .. he was about 6 feet tall wearing a fedora type hat ( like one i wear sometimes) .. i looked at him and he faded back into the wall between , my bedroom and bathroom door..

and i've seen UFO's since i was about 12( my whole family too) ..some maybe could be explained as flares or planes .. but i've seen 3 or 4 that were no doubt advanced craft of whatever kind.. I've had more intense sightings in the last 4 months..
I was not too scared cause i woke up rolled over, and he was gone in seconds it seemed .. but it was like i couldnt move ..
