The engine in this car is the 3.4L V8 the put in the Formula Nippon cars, I believe.

Yes u are right, but i've read on one forum that one guy from Honda said that this 3.4L V8 producing near 500bhp and it's more solidity than in F.Nippon, but dyno testing shows more than 500bhp. Actually this engine can revs to 11,000rpm with rated power near 600bhp (limited to 10,300 and 550bhp according to HMS).

3.4L V8 sounds good. Super GT entrant via homolgomation (sp?) by Honda, probably have to make a handful of these only.

Honda F1 is dead for the moment. Don't know where you got the idea Honda stepped out of racing altogether... SuperGT never was out, only the NSX had to be replaced because of new regulations. I thought they kept the NSX and changed the engine to the front (as they already had done and tested it (pic on the net)) But the opted for a new car altogether. Nice looking car! ps. Honda/Dome should also be back at LM in the LMP1 class (S102 in 2007, maybe new one...) let's wait for that...

High reved V8 sure do get F1 sounds nowadays (allready thought the F430 GT2 V8 came along nicely, but this one sure does sound like it came from the F1 car)
