Michael, I am with you 100% on saving our national treasures the wild mustangs from the Evil BLM. I am so upset with what is happening. I want to raid the pens and release the horses back to Their land. I know I can't but I sure don't want them to go extinct, like the buffaos.
Obama hasn't inspired me one lick and I am a mustang advocate. The ROAM Act is a democrat contrived bill that is seeking to use the mustangs as a pawn to kill the energy and beef industry. Obama... baaa, what BS.
Mr. Blake, thank you for stepping out to do the Press conference in San Fransisco yesterday, while Carol King took to the streets with protesters. Mr. Blake, can you get your celebrity friends to give a Press Conference, join protests? STOP corrupt inhumane BLM that is sending our tax dollars to line the pockets of already rich helicopter roundup crews, land leases for holding, feed, vets, etc..
Return the mountian lions- return the horses to their public lands COST = ZERO!
I thank you for your words of truth on the matter of the destruction of the Creator's world since the time of Columbus. I refuse to acknowledge that so called holiday.
I have seen Dances of Wolves numerous times. My heart and soul cry out for the injustice and destruction done by settlers going west who refused to acknowledge the ways of the Native Indian people.
So BLM is lying about the sustainabilty of these wild herds and killing these horses for no reason? Why are they killing these horses if they don't need to? and what's the solution if these horses are overpopulated? Thanks for posting this video michael! I have alot of questions and i want to know how to find out more about this.
We have put up with the BLM for way to long!! you hear this BLM!!! Pres. Obama please STOP THE BLM MADNESS!!! STOP THE BLM HORROR!!! THEY HAVE KILLED BILLIONS OF EVERYTHING WE LOVE!!!
If Barack Obama is SO WONDERFUL, then, why did he appoint a PRO-SLAUGHTER ADVOCATE for the Director of the Department of Interior? HUH.....you are misguided, my friend, misguided!
Michael, what a wonderful and inspiring video. Thank you for doing this. I will pass it on to family and friends.
I hope the President has seen it. We surely need his help to preserve the wild horses and burros.
Would suggest we have a Wild Horse Film Festival and a Wild Horse Jamboree here in Tucson. There is a huge wild horse community and wonderful citizens that would enjoy these events.
This is America where everyone is entitled to an opinion, even Muskrat. I actually live out on the wild horse range and I'm constantly around cattle, wild horses, wildlife and I'm even on the county wildlife board. I have to respectfully disagree with Muskrat's point of view. Humans have altered the environment so there has to be some reasonable management of wild horse populations, however these horses are part of Nevada and help distingush us from places like suburban Los Angeles.
My God Michael, you still look great buddy. For those of you who don't know, this is one of the finest people in the world, with whom I shared a passion to try to stop this lie, the planned round up and extinction of wild horses 16 years ago at Winnamucka, Nevada. I am glad we made it off that mountain Michael, God Bless you and your continued work. Richard
Muskrat50's comment, below, is entirely devoid of any honest and comprehensive, scientifically and natural ecologically based basis. And, the urgent warning for all of humanity, as expressed in all aspects of this Michael Black video, could not be more essentially correct and meaningful in these times when our very own species appears to be racing toward its own self extinction.
What are you doing making up lies to fit your world. Are they a invading species? Yes. Are they taking food from the native species? Yes. Are we racing toward own self extinction? No. Not one thing you said is true. If every horse in the wild died, we will still have over a 1,000,000.00 of them.
What I am doing is setting the facts straight. And the truth of the matter is that wild horses in the U.S. are NOT an "invading species" and do NOT "take food from the native species". Fossil evidence has proven that they are, in fact, a native, North American species, as is the case with your namesake, the muskrat. But, muskrats choose wetland habitats where they hardly, if ever, even get to see a wild horse. So, they're wet behind the ears, regarding facts about horses.
Horses wrote our U.S. history! Don't take away what makes our country beautiful! They are real living things, and they deserve to live the lives to the fullest!
wild horses are not an invading species. They evolved on the north american continent 13,000 years ago; then crossed the berring land bridge into the old world. The rest of the horses are in north america died out. No one knows why. But their kin - who moved to the old world - survive and were brought back by the Spanish. I have a bill statement you can read that's currently in the senate as we speak. It gives proof that our wild mustangs are not an invaded species.

With your line of thinking rhino's are a North American species, because we have Fossil evidence. That's just stupid.

Thank You Michael Blake for your video. Everything You said is extremely true and correct.
I have in days gone by feed wild horses in very harsh winters in order for them to survive.
Our heritage was founded on and with horses. As for as Mr muskrat50 thoughts -- Well I think
he's a vegetarian and a carbon tax man and never seen a wild horse and where they actually
came from.

Horses are a invading species, all they or doing is hurting the native species. They or a pest. You need to get off your so called high horse.

Thanks for Michael Blake for his inspiring words and photographs.
Yesterday's BLM meeting in Reno showed that there were plenty of us eager to stand up for what we believe.
The horses aren't asking for a bail-out, just a jailbreak and BLM can open the gates.
Thank you Michael and please give your own wild horse a nuzzle for me.
