as a member of the male species im almost ashamed to admit that for some reason this time after reading what you said and then listening to this song again, it just brought me to intense tears. i havent cried like that in years man. i really have to write this song, i've kept this bottled up too long. thanks again man, for writing the words that up until now i was afraid to write.

this is both poetically and musically (only the end) my favorite song of yours. the ending made me feel so triumphant but sad. makes me really miss going hiking with my dad at 7 years old. he left me when i was 8 never to return and now hes in prison. this song inspires me to write a song for him. yes, by far my favorite song so far. 5/5
