  • It is way too long, but the point is to get ideas of what you can talk about when you're asked that question.

  • shut up and take your top off.

  • this is exactly the type of answer that they are lookin for like er 10 years ago? now thats just not the case this is all shit; we r at an age where we must do anything to survive if not get left behind....

just cos u got a degree wont get u a job; u need connections; besides who in their right mind wants to go to uni get a paper cert and a massive debt in a crisis.... just tell them u r desperate for a job; will work long shifts n bring coffees in the morning!!

  • As a professional recruiter -- I would have politely cut her off and would coach her by suggesting that she doesn't talk so much. Give shorter and concise answers and lead the interviewer into a discussion. The interviewer will ask more probing questions if they want to learn more about a particular topic.

  • bla bla bla,.

  • i find it bored

  • I got bored. :/

One minute is only given for this question because of the interviewer's attention span.

  • Interviews are bullshit

  • I would rather interview my employer..... cuz i dont work for just anybody....then we can talk about me .

  • @Evergreenpak00 LOL!!

  • One thing I've learned in my 50 years is that some people are good talkers and others good workers. And both of these qualities are rarely found in one person. (unless it's a sales job).

  • @job3831 - Well said!!

  • I'd answer: "while I masturbate furiously at night I hear voices in my head"

  • I think I fell asleep after essentially my life

  • Tell me about yourself answer shouldn't exceed more than a minute or so. You should remember the attention span of the interviewer is about a minute or so.

  • interview at wells fargo tomorrow

  • @LoopInc I have a second interview at Scott's Lawn Care tomorrow. I hope you get the job.

  • @LoopInc how did it go? Did they ask tell me about yourself?lol i have an interview with them tomorrow

  • arms swinging, eye contact always wavering, rambling on forever - this video shows us what not to do.

  • humor always helps

  • if im that good i would be having people chasing me to give me a job not me talkin nonstop for 3 minutes... this wasnt an answer but rather story tellin n i would say no

  • My god, this is just a ramble.

  • hw cn dis be good?she answered the question for 3 friggin' minz..no1 has dat much patience..

  • @lilgillbryant "Tell me about yourself", that was the question. 3 minutes was good enough. you don't answer the question less than a minute. The interviewer wants to know something about you, your experiences, what are your possible qualifications to get hired. 3-5 minutes for such a question is just enough unless you are talking nonsense

  • too long..it's essential to answer briefly, besides, the your not the interviewer's universe.

  • The biggest issue with this performance is that the tone of voice is boring the viewer and she really isn't engaging the interviewer through eye contact. It almost seems like she does not want to be there or isn't all that interested in the job because there is no enthusiasm.

  • BORING!

  • Uhm is it just me or does the first voice sound like shes having an orgasm?! "MMMM Impressive Answer!" 0_0

  • Job interviewers are so damn moody...

  • this is what you would sould like if you had all the answers going into an interview, as a recruiter I still wouldn't hire her because she doesn't what the job watch it again! Ask yourself does she want to work here?

  • Thanks. I was able to get some ideas on what to say after watching this.

  • @Prettythithi you mean on what not to say, lol

  • she never stops

  • STFU!

  • zzzzzzzz

  • She twiddles and flinches like she's uncomfortable, but talks and talks about herself. I wouldn't hire her. Also, rule of the skirt-- answer long enough to cover it, but short to keep the interest.

  • Should you really give those kind of long winded answers?

  • @briangunn21 no way, not ever!

  • Interview (面試) ~ Good answer (錄取篇) ~ Tell me about yourself. ( 談談你自己吧) .... eileen 菁菁... hahaha ( like )

  • pot makes you dumb and slow.

  • She doesnt smile much. Doesnt seem "happy" to be there. Uses her hands too much.

  • to long of a responce feels like shes aswering more then one qestion to much to rember for someone seing like 10 more people and to much hand moverment unless jazz hands are a great skill - lol

  • She can also give an extremely long winded response to the question that literally goes on for three straight minutes. It appears that talking about herself comes easily thus indicating that she does it on a frequent basis which can either lead me to believe she is very confident in herself, or that she is conceded and compensating for her own perceived flaws, more likely the latter based on the sheer volume of self-praising bull shit that seams to endlessly spew from her mouth. The end.

  • she's very nervous cuz her shaking tits are distracting me...

  • hi

  • girls can serve 2 purpose....for work and pleasure

  • lol "bringing in lunch" is a good thing to say when you have a job interview

  • lol "bringing in lunch" is a good thing to say when you have a job interview

  • I thought she did well, she made me think of some more stuff to tell my interviewer in the morning

  • A lot of what she is saying are things that the employer would decide for themselves, such as 'a good communicator' and 'a good sense of humour'. It is virtually useless to use terms such as this; they come across as filler material.

  • zzzzzzzzzzz

  • this lovely gorgeous has experience... what about some interview tips on beginners... not winners

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Oh my god! she came across a bit too cocky

  • ZzZzz -.-

  • Too perfect for an interview..not really practical

  • Find out what no one has told you about a banking career - Google and read "The Banker Who Saved His Soul"

  • There's no way I'm as an effective interviewee as this chick! :0 Holy shit! Thanks for posting this discouraging video on YouTube, DenhamResources! I needed that. /sarc

  • Way to long!

  • Too long

  • Even I got bored watching this vid

  • Nose Bleed!!! XD

  • That isn't a woman... is a perfect God.

    Sarcasm from Brazil!

  • I had a friend who responded, "Mango!", when the interviewer asked her to choose one word that represented her. At least this lady didn't say that.

  • i went to a job interview drunk and got hired all i said was "yeah" LOL!

  • Uhh.... Hook Me Up !

  • She is talking too much it should have been at least 1 min.... FAIL

  • good

  • "I've been pimpin hoes since ah...like...80-Fo, but lak...ya know pimpin' ain't easy that's why I'm applyin to Burger Kang up in heah''.

  • I'm 21 and this woman is turning me on...I will hire her

  • wrong finger playing. wrong body language.

  • online jobs hiring today careertaker .info waiting to hire

  • I love these Question!..

  • Look at her hands... And try avoiding doing the same!

  • Omg I'm a negative person who docent do shit, how the fuck I'm I gunna act all fake! Man, this world is such a fucking hassle.

  • way too much information. i didn't finish your intro before started looking at the comments

  • I think is to much information. The less, the Better!!!

  • I don't think you should talk a lot just a few words and be specific.

  • r we supposed to speak that long? im a fresh graduate!!

  • to fidgety, looks like she bull shitting

  • isnt she kinda bubble head??

  • Why do GIRLS get hired while BOYS do not ??? is this fair ??

  • @LetsDoThiis both should be equal.

  • @LetsDoThiis they sexist...

  • @LetsDoThiis Overall, women are getting lower salaries than their male counterparts even in the year 2011. Is that fair? Also, women are still discriminated against in the hiring process due to their ability to get pregnant. Is that fair?

  • @Holly03TX Well, I am not talking about salaries statistics, my point is the # of girls have jobs is many more than guys, think about it, for instance, A guy works at BK as a manager earns 10,000 a month and 7 girls work as a team member gain 1,000 a month, so they add up to 7,000, thats is lower than 10,000 right this is your point, so 1 guy has a perfect life and 7 girls have good life in genreal, what about the rest of guys who don't have jobs??????.

And about pregnancy, its for your health!

  • @Holly03TX Of course its fair, why would you hire someone who is going to be restricted to what they can do if they are pregnant, not to mention the amount of time off they will have off for doctors appointments and after the birth of the child.

  • @LetsDoThiis bcoz gurls have such sweet thing to offer which boys don't have unfortunately :P

  • @LetsDoThiis well it depends who the interviewer is himself or herself

  • @LetsDoThiis depends what the job is, do you see any girls working on cars or building sites?

  • @LetsDoThiis yet they still cry about equality

  • @LetsDoThiis girls get to look sexy and get sex appeal on there side and seeing as most bosses r men guys dont really get picked.... thats my theory at least

  • do you think its alright if i mention i have no experience as well as it being my first interview??

  • @rofllol6969 NEVER EVER SAY THAT! work your way around that situation, talk about you're best qualities and what you can do to help the company with them

  • Shouldn't the answer be 1 minute long?

  • The start of this sounded like the start of a porn film.

  • When asked this question I always reply "Could you be more specific?" This is typically met by stammering, confusion and an eventual repeat of the question. Are you asking about my personal life? If that's the case, it's absolutely none of your business and is beyond the scope of our "relationship." If there's something about my professional experience you'd like to know, then directly ask me. Cut the canned BS they taught you during your HR degree program and you might hire a good candidate.

  • @JeffCarlson84 you sound like a douche. There's absolutely no reason to be offended by that question but somehow you were lol. Not a good candidate for anyone's company...

  • ok...........right............sounds good........zzzzz....oh no im not falling asleep....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • dont consider saying a lot, but at least cover some examples that you can get from her.good example. :)

  • This is one of the WORST examples I have ever seen in my life. Seriously... DO NOT do that.

  • really great and nice video. i learned a lot from this one. I also found tips on job interview: adf.ly/572387/jobinterview

  • i'm a writer, and i can take 4 klonopin, 3 grns morphine tabs (180mgs), 3 adderall caps, toke a nice blunt- and think more clearly than most of these robots who all try to act the same as each other.

  • Very boring, lack of enthusiasm, flat tone of voice that made everything sound trivial.

  • @OCEANQUEEN1 but it IS trivial

  • nice answer, its amazing...

  • Show the manager your dick

  • funny, after i watched the movie 'Zeitgeist moving forward' here on youtube, i got the best answore and you told about it to all my freinds.

  • creepy

  • Visit avsaronline for more help

  • I fell asleep during the answer…

  • Actually, I wouldn't consider this that "good" of an answer. If you're being asked a relatively simple question, there is no reason to talk for this long--nobody wants to hear it.

The most important thing with job interviews is to be interesting to listen to, but also to the point. This lady clearly doesn't get that.

  • unwatchable!

  • so.... may I ask why did you just feature such a stupid video??

  • Tell me about yourself?

Well i like to smoke pot. In fact, i have this here. Would you like a hit?

  • @nvlptl That's so funny..you made me laugh lol

  • @nvlptl You're hired dude. *toke*

  • Im 16 and i am applying for it on this saturday, it is a part time job and it's located in a pub, this is my first time and i need help!

  • Thanks. This example was helpful to me.

  • B O R I N G to my ears, I would not hire you.

  • got a job after watching this video but they never asked anything close to this question. lol

  • 266 people didnt get the job. jk

  • You claim: 'the company has a lot to offer me' before asking about the training opportunities. Not good

  • This isn't a good demonstration of anything. An interview is a two way process whereby you should ask questions, listen and involve the interviewer. This in fact is a dreadful demonstration of communication, she talks talks talks and is quite frankly, going to bore anyone.

  • fuck you. shut the fuck up. the only thing you have ever done is working the street cornor

  • Shut up bitch!

  • sounds too rehearsed and too wordy .

  • This is a bad interview. She took too long.

  • ''So, tell me about yourself.''

    ''I'm Chuck Bass''

  • Comment removed

  • I lost interested in what she said after 30 seconds. She should have asked what the interviewer would like to know first...

  • English mother fucker, do you speak it?

  • she seems to be talking at the interviewer, sounds to rehearsed, to long, voice tone goes up and ends on a down, sentence after sentence which starts to put you to sleep - relate your experience to your cv, highlight one key achievement in each of the roles you have had, top line - if they want more info they will ask, no longer than 2 mins max, short and punchy is best!! Def avoid boring the interviewer or your a fail!!

  • quite horrible.

    She consume too much time.

  • i think she talks too much........

  • Terrible answer. Too long.. not compelling.. This is the most important question of the interview because its normally number one question and most interviewers have made their opinion in 3 minutes.

Never ask a question to their question. You are a big person so you should know what kind of things they want to know about you. If you want to seriously Kick Butt in an interview please talk to me.

  • @curtskene can you give me a good answer for tell me about your self?

  • @curtskene hi, i have an interview coming up, what help do u offer?

  • @07980138848 I have an interview tomorrow for verification representative

  • @Tammy24ist sorry

  • @curtskene Would you coach me with being interviewed? Also, how to dominate this question.

  • Seriously pls someone tell me. i've often asked my self that. IS IT OKAY TO ASK THE INTERVIEWER WHAT IS IT THAT THEY WOULD LIKE TO KNOW SPECIFICALLY?

  • the most stupid question asked to me in interviews and i think that might be possibly why i couldn't be accepted for job is what do you see yourself 5 years from now ??

how i could figure something like that of course i don't know and i will be a liar if i answered such a question cause i don't know opportunities that will be available for me my skills i'll gain my courses i will take

if anyone agrees with me that will be thumbs up .. disagree please tell me what to do :)

  • @MOr5i i would just give a general answer like school/college/university. if you're not my age then you could say something in the certain job field that you want to be in. but then i would say "but i can never know for sure what i will be doing in 5 years because you never know what opportunities will become available to you or what skills you will learn that will make you available for many other types of jobs" something like that.

  • @samanthak2205 First of all i appreciate your attention.. 2nd considering your answer about saying something about certain job field when we say here in Egypt about our dreams or about exactly what we want to be in the future and it is not related to the job that you are applying for..that will be a disaster and you may lose it because of that. i like advertising and marketing but this is not available now so i applied for customer ser job .. what they want to hear that you will be a team leader

  • I always contemplated using hand gestures while explaining things. I tend to talk with my hands to get the point across and have thought I didn't get several jobs because of this. I've toned it down quite a bit. Any opinions on this???

  • @m3trend IKR

  • this woman looks a lot like Sandra bullock

  • @mysite1000 Eh... Maybe her uglier sister.

  • There is an attitude in her speech that can't persuade anyone... The whole answer collapses when yu show that you do not believe it! Don't be fake, be real! Your interviewer can tell the difference!

  • "Tell me a little about yourself" is not a question. It is actually a trick question. There really is only one right, and correct response when in a interview. "What would you like to know?" This will show the interviewer that you will look for your boss to be specific before just running off and doing something they did not ask you to do. I have hired and fired many. Don't let this one trip you up. Have a great day, God Bless.

  • Well Body language seems good while talking and answer is little bit long and descriptive..... but still effective ...and working..

  • She starts good but the answer is too long, a little boring

  • this was pretty good. I like how she still brought all her examples back to the main point. I need a job !!

  • wow white people look so pale, old, and ugly

  • i like 2 start late...and finish early...

  • The guy at the end who says "I wanna hire this person", he really means "I wanna fuck with this person." : pppp

  • this women is all over the place?! if I were an interviewer I would look at my watch to see when she'd finish!! 1.6 million views?! what a bad video

  • Show late to the interview and make sure your breath smells like booze to impress the hiring manager. Stumble into the office with your sunglasses on so the manager can witness themself speaking to you through the reflection of your cool shades. Please the 5th during any line of questioning as this is the enemy that you may be working for, so dont trust this person. The last resort is to show the manager your dick if all else fails. This always makes a lasting impression.

  • @IronJustice08 I think at my next interview I will pretend to be gay. This way, a women boss will want to go to the mall with me, and the guy boss will think he stands a chance.

  • hi, i'm braindead and I can't move for long periods of time, but I can push buttons.

  • I can tell her leg is probably shaking like crazy. Too nervous... pay attention to body movements. Not to mention, poor posture.
