Same thing is wrong with my fourwheeler. Had similar problem with my 92 model Ford Ranger but it would move frontwards then backwards which is useually your radius arm bushings.

if its a broken wheel bearing..that could cause your spindle to shear off, thusly, your wheel would come off while traveling down the road...

That's a loose wheel bearing. A track end rod would only be loose from side to side on the tire.
