  • Exo Squad was an amazing cartoon, for its time, and for all time. It was very adult in its themes despite its gearing towards children and merchandising. I remember, in the early 90's, waking up at 5am on Sundays to watch it in Canada. It was Exo Squad then Teknoman.

  • ACTION MAN WAS THE MOTHER FUKING SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • batman beyond's opening always scared me when I Was A Kid For Some Reason

  • the mask was the best :'( i wish it were on tv

  • action man shouldn't be considered a classic. sorry to all his fans if there are any.

  • Cartoons are still good, title fail

  • cartoons are shit these days.

  • batman beyond the best batman cartoon ever they need to make it into a movie

  • that tomato cartoon would get me so mad as a kid. i'd have to manually change the tv channel when it came on cuz someone hid the remote. and when my parents told me it was based on a movie that THEY knew about of course I didn't wanna watch it even more. cuz you think you're so much cooler than your parents when you're 8. ha.

  • Dark Water! Fuck yeah!

  • lol im not surprise you miss out banana man

  • OMG, Mighty Ducks! I used to love that show! <3 I completely forgot about it. xDD

  • omg, ACTION MAN AND BATMAN BEYOND!!!!!!!!!!!! I though Action Man was cool with the idea that he could see the true theory and technique like Neo in the Matrix; pure knowledge. I know, sounds weird but I have used Action Man in many philso classes in debates about what knowledge is. Funny how cartoons have deeper meaning sometimes.

  • TOMATOES TOMATOES!!

  • Action Man

    Attack of the Killer Tomatoes

    Batman Beyond

    Donkey Kong Country

    Exo-Squad

    The Mask

    Disney's Mighty Ducks

    Mighty Max

Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates

    The Pirates of Dark Water

  • The only thing good in this line up was exo squad and darkwater

  • @smoth7 Cartoons in the 90s were generally really bad. Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes? Seriously? There were only a handfull of OK 90s cartoons, and even fewer good ones. Batman was an awesome one, The Mighty Ducks were lame LOL. Peter Pan And The Pirates looked cool, I never watched it or knew it was on. Pirates Of Darkwater had a ton of fans. I didn't watch that one either, but I've heard good things. No decade will ever top the golden age of animated greatness from the 80s.

  • @texformer

Dude, I am 30, I know they were bad in the 90s but exo squad was pretty cool, not often we get power armor cartoons and you should watch darkwater you will end up lamenting the fact that it never got an ending >:|

  • "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" is based on an R/PG-13-rated movie series...yet it's a kid's show...yet you have the villains ogling a sexy babe...ow...brain hurt.

Batman Beyond OTOH rocked my cock. XD

  • what!? no Darkwing Duck or McScrooge whatever!? :'(

  • @bh5496 Those were from the 80s weren't they? Darkwing Duk, Duck Talkes, Rescue Rangers, Gummi Bears.

  • @texformer well, i don't really know, all i remember is that they were good and they showed them through the 90's and early 20's i think, but i not shure

  • You saved the best for last :D The Pirates of Dark Waters was uber epic and beautifully done. If I ever make the cash, I'm buying the producer's rights and nail every competition in today's stupid shit abstract design cartoons.

  • Mighty max was fun to watch!!!

  • the only thing I watched out of this batch is pirates of the dark water and very few episodes of attack of the killer tomatoes

  • I loved the Mighty Ducks

  • SSSSSSSMOKINNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! man i miss the mask

  • That's what's up I rember so many of those shows todays kids aint got nothin to watch man hollywood need to get they minds right and start doin some writtin

  • Remember ALL of these, they used to ROCK! Especially Donkey King

  • Batman Beyond hell yea. I loved that show!

  • oohh my gooooooooooodddddd! i had tears in my eyes. i was about to cry, but i had to keep them in. RIP to good cartoons.

  • batman of the future and the mask were my faves i vaguely remember the last one pirates of dark water not sure what channel it used to come on in the uk though

  • See The Pirates of Dark Water on youtube it's worth it, trust me ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @Zamolxx Look up these terms for a cartoon of greatness, Visionaries cartoon, Have to use those terms, or you might get back a bunch of non related stuff.

  • I saw the the Batman Beyond intro for the first time in 10 years (I think). I've got to say. As a kid I thought it was awesome. Now that I'm older, I KNOW it's badass! That intro... damn! I got chills!

  • DONKEY KONG COUNTRY! (^u^)

  • i remember donkey kong

  • ok where the fuck is kaaabblam and hey Arnold beetle borgs zoids dam beast wars cow and chicken so many good job tho

  • I love it

  • Oh man, your other montage videos were blocked for some bullshit copyright reasons. D: You should reupload them somewhere else.

  • YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...we miss u action man...

  • Peter Pan and the Pirates and Mighty Max were the SHIT

  • Peter Pan and the Pirates!! I used to LOVE that as a young girl!!

  • Donkey kong cartoon???????????????

  • I still couldn't find the show I was looking for, can anyone help? I forgot the name of it. It was about a anthropomorfic lion who used a plane to hunt treasures all over the world for an employer with two friends.

You might never have heard of it, I don't know if it was aired in America or not.

    Can anyone help?

  • I could never remember what show I used to watch at like 6 in the morning now I remember Might Max

  • Mighty Max was that shit. Was actually a pretty deep show for a 6 year old.

  • You said it! I couldn't agree more. That was a show where, you actually learned something, you could use in class like those important facts at the end of each episode; The whole show in general you learn things...... Yeah i miss that show too.

  • mighty max was SIIIIKKKKKKKK

  • oh my gooood...I got goosebumps by watching the very last intro "The pirates of dark water" .Thank you for reminding me for that great show...aaahh the memories..

  • On my God the last one! I totally forgot about the last one! It was awesome...

  • EPIC RANDOMNESS?????

  • Talk about epic shows. The Mighty Ducks cartoon took a cheesy, family friendly trilogy about underdogs rising up to the occasion through all obstacles and turned it into an epic cartoon about ducks flying through space fighting evil doers.

  • I must say that this list... atleast this pt.8, is rather pathetic, except for a few...

  • I remember i loved the songs in donkey and I still do

  • Batman Beyond? Fuck. Yes.

  • Jesus, they'll make a cartoon out of just about anything...

  • Finally someone who put Mighty Max and Exo-Squad in there. Can't recall any of the others who have.

  • ah the good childhood memories that my mother ruined for me T_T

  • Shit mighty max! thanks a lot for reminding me of the name of that cartoon!

  • THE MASK was seriously one of the funniest shows ever made. I used to watch that cartoon everyday when I got home from school (I was younger those days)

    SSSSMOKIN! xD

  • Dude! Where's 1-3 and 6 and 7? You are a freakin' GENIUS for doing this!

  • Might Ducks oh man I loved that show. Thnx for video.

  • God I remember Action Man, that was an awesome show, couldn't get enough of it.

  • I wasn't a big fan of AM, but I din't mind watching it. I loved the whole AmpFactor thing though.

  • Oh god I remember Donkey Kong. That was awesome.

  • THE TOMATOES!!!!! HOLY SHIT!!!

  • I concur.

Why didn't he get rid of that parachute anyway?

  • the pirates of dark water was the shit, they should air it on boomerang.

  • I loved that show to! so did my dad xD

  • oh, the pirates of dark water :O remember the music :D so cool..

  • where are the other parts?

  • I never realized how many cartoons I watched as a kid until now. Epic! I had an awsome childhood from the looks of it.

  • The pirates of dark water

    Wow, huge head trip there

  • i find it funny that they changed the mighty Ducks from a bunch of kids playing hockey to a group of intergalactic ducks that came to earth to stop evil

  • Its like a natural transition for me :P,

  • wow. i still can't believe they based a cartoon series, and a good one at that, on that halariously low budget movie, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. And it was good. just like all of the other gems on this montage. Lets face it, when they changed Fox Kids, it was all down hill from there, not just for fox cartoons, but for cartoons as a whole.

  • donkey kong!!!!

so many things to miss damn!

  • I miss the old Batman series, the one where Mark Hamill played the Joker's voice.

"Sure thing Mr. J" I still have that line in my head. I still can't remember her name though.

  • it was holly Quinn

  • Thanks

  • Actually, it was Harley Quinn, like the harlequin performers.

  • Dude, Pirates of Darkwater is the best show to end so abruptly!

  • fuck yea batman beyond!!! this show was dope as hell

  • All better cartoons that the dross spoon fed to kids these days. I remember if not watching then at least seeing most of these at some point in my childhood. I imagine the original plot writers had to retire at some point, and the new crap ones took over. Even the mask, probably the weakess of the lot, is more impressive that some of the guck on TV now. I never got to see ExoSquad when I was little, being in UK land, but I saw it not long ago, and it was like Battlestar for kids (i.e. good)

  • I only know two or three of these shows, never heard of any of the others, wow!

  • seriously, these current cartoons sucks badly,Flapjack is awfull at best,Dinossaur King is just a child anime with isnt even funny,My Gym Partner is a monkey is funny sometimes, but still fails most time, what happened to the old cartoons?not only these he showed, but also the likes of Jonnhy Bravo and Dexter's laboratory?

  • I seriously miss Batman Beyond.

  • You and me both.

  • THE MASK was the beeeeeeeeeest ever XD

    I LOVE IT

  • dark water and biker mice from mars RULE

  • action man was good?

    you've gotta be kidding me..

  • I already thought it sucked when I was a kid. I wonder if they just re-issued the character into Max Steel.

Kids these days don't know what a good cartoon (or a good toy) is.

G.I.Joe was THE cartoon and THE toy line

  • @ZippoLag Yeah.. that was one of the shows that gave me a sign of the beginning of the end in terms of quality.

  • You put up Exo Squad...my favorite cartoon of all time. You rock

  • batman beyond was my fav batman cartoon..it has THE SEXIEST INTRO EVER!!!!

  • everyone plz spam and thumps down to rashadpwnzuall for bring a fag.

  • he's a stupid loser anyways. fuckrashadpwnzuall.

  • no one remembers captain planet,:captain planet,he's the hero............" :)

  • mighty ducks was good...if they weren't ducks and there was no hocky

  • 1:25 now that's a epic opening that batman just RULED

  • Is it just me or a lot of these old cartoons (1960s-1990s) are way too overglorified? People act like they are the best fucking thing since sliced bread when in actuality many of them were just as crappy as much of the stuff on now.

Holy fuck, have you all watched these shows in a long time? With the exception of Batman Beyond, these cartoons were pretty awful. You only like them because you grew up with them and they remind you of your childhood.

  • For that I'm gonna drop an ACME ANVIL on your head!!!

  • Go for it...but what I said is actually true. Look all over the internet. A lot of these cartoons are way too overpraised even though they are nothing special, they are nothing groundbreaking, just run of the mill kids cartoons.

  • you are truly a fag get a life don't like then don't have to view this video you just want to talk shit fag.

  • Some of them might be awful, and a lot of them are overglorified, but they're WAY better than what you see today on television...

  • NOW THESE WERE CARTOONS!!!!

Anyone think we should all just boycott the TV shows on Nick and Cartoon Network now? Seriously, when my kid is born, I'm buying all these old shows on DVD and we're watching them. My girlfriend even has three shows she wants to buy for the kid too.

Honestly, I would not subject my kid, or anyone's kid to the crap we have today.

  • glad to see someone put the Pirates of Dark Water on one of these videos

  • anybody remember flash gordon?

  • Mighty Max: One of the few shows that lasted long enough to actually get a proper ending episode. I remember it fondly.

  • i can't find peter pan and the pirates anywhere, where can i watch it?

  • I loved The Mask and The Mighty Ducks. Ah the good old days.

  • DUDE!!! i loved these videos!

    brought back lots of memories!

i thought of some possible cartoons for a future video:

Reboot, Timon and Pumba, Voltron, Heman, Spawn, Transformers, Godzilla, Biker Mice, Life with Louie, Doug, Aladdin, and Ghost busters.

Hope to see more videos man!

    keep up the great work!

  • Haha! You're definately from a different generation than me. I'm 31 and I would have never featured any of these cartoons in a "when cartoons were good" video. For me its strictly the early 1980s. I'm sure children of the 70s would complain that my 80s shows were lame, so don't be offended by this comment!

  • I miss Batman Beyond. Definately one of the coolest intros. It was actually a pretty good show, but hardcore batman fans would never agree to that. LOL!

  • I to liked Batman Beyond. Thsi is a hardcore fan speaking here by the way. I thought that it was an interesting take on an ageing Bruce Wayne just like Frank Miller's Batman Dark Knight Returns. Awesome Intro. I agree.

  • I loved Batman Beyond. This by the way is a hard core Batman fan Speaking. I felt that it was an interesting take on an aging Bruce Wayne . Him training someone who comes from nearly the same background as himself. Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns with a bit of a twist. Great T.V.

  • I LOVE Batman Beyond, his girlfriend Dana was so sexy and Max wasn't half bad either ;)

but that aside, the show was amazing and this is coming from someone that is a huge fan of BTAS.... BB has to in my top 5.

  • killer tomatos???

    WHAT THE #UCK?

  • wheres duck tales,darkwing duck , gooftroop, gargoyles,bonkers?

  • there are more videos like this from this user theres like 7 others.

  • batman beyond, no batman and robin yes

  • haha oh my days, the killer tomatoes i haven't watched that in years i used to love them

  • Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong, c'mon give me a break

  • Hmmm...methinks it could use more zelda - well EXCUUUUUSE me princess! :P

  • yes win

  • action man was awful :|

  • Exo-Squad, fuck YES!

  • BATMAN BEYOND FUCK YEA!!!

  • action man was the shit dawg

  • Yay! Batman Beyond was awesome!

I loved The Mask as well! And I had totally forgotten all about Pirates of Dark Water ^^

  • horah BATMAN`BEYOND

  • oh fro christ sake it was originally called Batman of the future and it was damned good wasn't it

  • fuck yea!

pirates of dark water AND mighty ducks were awesome

  • How could you forget Batman The Animated Series? No true child of the 80s/90s could EVER forget about that show! More shows you could use would be: Thundercats, He-man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Chipmunks, Samurai Pizza Cats, Ghostbusters, The Flinstones, The Jetsons, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, Transformers, Pink panther, G Force, Speed Racer, Robo Tech and Voltron. Those were some really classic cartoons (even if some of them did come before the 80s/90s).

  • he did but the video got taken down due to copyrights sad face

  • the mask *****.........for worst fuckin' song ever, hey thanks for these clips.

  • i always wondered wtf was up with the mighty duck cartoon. IT had nothing to do with the movie. How do you go from a movie about a team of underdogs who win in the end to a show about musculer talking dicks with weapons who fight aliens.

  • FORGOT THE SIMPSONS!!!!

  • Oh so many more I could mention you didn't put on your list, or any video, in fact you are missing two videos, you should check on these cartoons: dinosaucers, thundercats, he-man, teenage mutant ninja turtles, batman animated series, alvin and the chipmunks, chip & dale, samurai pizza cats, punky brewster, ghostbusters, captain tsubasa, dragon ball, saint seiya, yogi bear, top cat, the flinstones (adult), transformers, mazinger z, pink panther, g force, ed, edd & eddy, speed racer, just a few.

  • Your video is very interesting

  • a couple suggestions for pt 9. The Goof Troop. Captain Planet.animaniacs (pinky and the Brain)i dont remember the name but it used to come on with garfield and friends. it was about farm animals, i like that one too

  • the mask.....cool...

  • they should defiantly re-air some if not all of these shows.

  • Mighty Max and Exo-Squad fucking ruled. The other shows are shitty late 90s cartoons.

  • Mighty Max i agreee it ruledddd

  • nothing beats batman beyond waiting for a movie lol

  • Exo-Squad needs more respect. That was an awesome cartoon that hit on some of the same themes friggin' Battlestar Galatica does. Cartoons aren't made like that anymore!

  • Your right man, I used to watch that show all the time.

  • Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!

  • I loved Mighty Max. It's what gave me my addiction to time travel and paradox...things.

  • Batman Beyond was the BEST!!!! Hell Yea!!!!!

  • Japanese anime killed american cartoon production sadly..

  • LOL the pirates of dark water one of the best shows on TBS.....or was it USA, I forget having seen the show in 15 years.

Batman beyond kicked all other Batman series hard and was by far as gruesom as the new Batman Movie.

  • You did a great job! I really shouldn't complain but there are actually a lot of famous cartoons you forgot: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Robocop, The Bugs Bunny Show, The Real Ghostbusters, Rainbow Brite, Care Bears, The Jetsons, Original Mario Bros. (before Super Mario World), My Little Pony, Pac-Man, Babar, Addams Family, New Kids On The Block (yes an actual cartoon), Recess, Slyvester & Tweety Mysteries, The Little Mermaid (series), Magic School Bus, Life With Louie, & Powderpuff girls.

  • "Pt. 8"

There are six more. (Part six is missing).

  • I already saw parts 1-5 & 7, I was hoping there were additional parts. I

ts more than obvious with the "Part 8".

  • Heck yeah, Exo squad! Definitely my favorite cartoon ever. Such complex concepts as race, politics, and war, and all in a kid's cartoon XD? If they hadn't been obsessed with airing it at 5:30 in the morning.. it probably would have gone longer than one season. Alas.

  • I think Exo-Squad was easily one of the greatest action cartoons of the past 20 years. It's so sad the series never reached a true finale.

  • Peter Pan and the Pirates...one of my favorite cartoons...:) <3

  • 1. Action Man-never watched it

    2. Attack of the Killer Tomatos-never watched it

    3. Batman Beyond-watched it

    4. Donkey Kong Country-never watched it

    5. Exo Squad-never watched it

    6. The Mask-never watched it

    7. Mighty Ducks-LOVED IT!

    8. Mighty Max-never watched it

    9. Peter Pan and the Pirates-never watched it

    10. The Pirates of Dark Water-never watched it

  • I LOVE ACTION MAN. Batman beyond was good And so was mighty ducks.

  • You should upload sam and max in the next one otherwise these are some good videos :)

  • does anyone else remember Knights of the zodiac? God i loved that show.

  • Thats bull where was street sharks, ninja turtles, speed racer, gundam, whacky races, godzilla, smurfs, snorks, the jetsons, lonney toons, kablam, scooby doo, roboot, max steel, transformers, Thundercats, ren and stempy, goof troop, the simpsons, road runner, dexters lab, josey and the pussy cats, jabber jaw, aqua man, and space ghost, roadrovers, but other than that it was good

  • I agree with you, but you have to remember this user must have dedicated SO MUCH time to finding all of these cartoons! You shouldn't be so harsh! LOL

  • I'm gonna go to the bathroom, and when I get back, I'm gonna talk about the Mighty Duck movies.

See? Even Danny appreciates the classics (or, their lame counterparts at least)

  • Mighty Ducks biaaatchhh!! =)

    man i loved that show

  • My cousin has red hair and she used to get called "Mighty Ducks" because they had the red headed girl. lol.

  • i used to watch the mighty ducks all the time, Anyone know where/if they have all these cartoons on dvd?

  • I think there was a short-lived show called Captain Power. You hold the toy of the character to the show and a part of the toy or the base lights up. It was kind of stupid. Anyway, when they tried to remake classics into 3-D like GI Joe (not even most the classic characters, I think) and Transformers&they sucked, there was nothing really left. DBZ (&similar epic story anime, like Rurouni Kenshin) took the place of those for me. It was well made and funny. Remember Supercade w/.Atari shows?

  • Yup there was, in fact attack of the show did a short clip on it.

  • OMG I remember those, Those Bio-Dreads scared the Hello out of me. I was young, when they digitized people, I was horrifying!

  • wut about mutant league, road rovers, samurai pizza cats, MASK, gobots, heman, she-ra, Bionic Six, Centurions, Pound Puppies, Silverhawks Thundercats, Jem! and of course mr. T...id really love these

  • go to BigDaddyDChannel, he's got loads of 80's cartoons including bionic six and Mr. T

  • Does anybody remember the show from the late 90's called "The Magician"? That was a pretty good show in my opinion.

  • I do! I remember, It was pretty cool.
