We have difficulty grasping that because we are finite and bound by time. But real reality is different, real reality is eternal and time is contained within it. Theoretically it is possible. What I have a problem with, is UFO's hover, so they wouldn't need a "Run Way." It leads me to believe that the global civilization had aeroplanes more than a run way for hovering objects.

This is all funny to me becuz i can remember reading the bible as a child and thinking this is a UFO! And this was prior to me EVER hearing any theories about various biblical passages. Also Lord God lies in 2:17 and is seen by many people but john 1:18 says no man has seen God at any time. When you think about this in th Bible Jesus says we will have forever lasting life. So in that aspect would we not have to live forever to explore space at great distances. Ok. The concept of mathematics like 2x3=6 has always existed[timeless]. There are laws that govern the universe,gravity, centrifugal, etc. Well, you can't have laws that exist on their own. If you have laws, there has to be a "LAWER". If there are rules then you must have a "RULER". Also, DNA is an extremely highly complex instructional program that tells the body how to look and function. Someone had to design it. Yeah, that comes from the Bible. But if you read the Bible it becomes clear that God is not an alien in the sense of what is being suggested here. The Bible says God is spirit, not a martian.

That is an excellent question. The word translated to spirit in this instance is the Greek word, "pneuma". The word means, wind, breath or spirit.
The Bible defines Its own terms. Christ said that those born of spirit cannot be seen - just like the wind. That in mind, God has the power to make Himself seen when He so desires. God isn't an alien as defined by this video. I'm sorry, He's just not.

I think what he is trying to say is people didn't know about other planets. For example the planet Mars was given it's name over a thousand years later. So why would they be called Martians in the bible? So could it not be possible that they just used the closest word they knew to describe god or angels/demons?

I hear what you're saying, but I was using martian in just general terms. But see what you think about this: The Bible says that all the angels sang for joy when God created the physical universe. (Apparently before Lucifer rebelled) If the angels, or God for that matter, were aliens from other planets, which planets were they from before God created the universe?
Remember, the Bible states that it is Truth and cannot contradict Itself..

Ok see this is my problem with the bible. If god created the universe.... who created god??? Also just if the bible states it is true, it still doesn't mean it really is? It's a touchy subject I know, but whatever way you look at things there are always going to be questions for the opposing side.

Sincerely, I understand the dilema - I grappled with it for years myself. The answer is that God has life inherent - He is life force. We have difficulty grasping that because we are finite and bound by time. But real reality is different, real reality is eternal and time is contained within it. God is the Ever Living One who inhabits eternity. And it our destiny to be born into or eleivated to that level of existance. That's the message of the Bible. Fantastic! Yes?

I really don't think I like I idea of eternal life. Knowing that you have a limited time in life makes you enjoy every day. I mean death is scary (partially why I think that so many look to god). See to me who wrote the bible? How do they know all of this information? Why create it? No one won't know till they actually die... or not cause they will be dead.

Well, the way the Bible was written was God used men the way a man would use several different pens to write a book. From my understanding, there were things that the prophets wrote that they didn't understand because they weren't meant to be understood until the end of the age, i.e. now. The Bible is God's revelation to man and the blue print for happy and fulfilling life.

Conversely, the reason God will not give rebels eternal life is because they would be miserable and make others miserable for eternity were they permitted to live. Bologna! If that were true, why did Jesus supposedly have to come and CHANGE the word of God. The Jews believed in the Old Testament. Jesus said it was wrong. If god was infallible, and imparted his wisdom to men, why did he change it? It doesn't hold much water my friend.

Don't know where you are getting your info, but Jesus never said the OT was wrong. In fact he said "Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets: I am not come to destroy but to FULFILL it For amen I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot, or one tittle shall not pass of the law, till all be fulfilled". That means that not 1 single word is incorrect in the OT. He came to become the Sacrifice Lamb to atone for the our sins. YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK MY FRIEND

No, I can't take that to the bank. Like me, the bank is highly skeptical of any fantastical, pie-in-the-sky schemes.. It's a good correlation though. If you went to the bank to underwrite religion, they would laugh you out of the building. That being said, are you reading the same Bible I am? The OT is full of a vengeful, wrathful, jealous God ready to punish any transgression. The NT, and the words attributed to Jesus are COMPLETELY OPPOSITE. If he didn't change the focus, you'd be Jewish.

Well, I'm not Jewish. You are right about the bank. I know that at first glance, God appears as a vengeful God. You must have a greater understanding of what really happened in the OT that made God so Jealous of HIS people. He didn't want them mixing with the Canaanites for 1 very good reason. They had been genetically corrupted by the Watchers or bad angels. That's why God told the Hebrews to kill them all including animals. God is not a murderer. He knew about satans plan. More....

But Jesus WAS Jewish. An important point. I have a degree in theology from Southern Methodist University. I understand as well as most people the reasons behind the stories of God in the OT. I also fully understand that most of the stories in the OT are fictitious and very often borrowed and adapted from earlier religious or cultural tales. Leaving that aside, you relate how God wants the Canaanites murdered, etc. Doesn't that sound a little ridiculous to you? It smacks of Zeus and Olympus.

Ok. I know I can't prove that satan managed to pollute the DNA gene pool in Canaan. But lets assume it did happen. Wouldn't that call for the extermination of demon halfbreeds?
Bottom line, Do you trust God to do the right thing? I guarantee you He wouldn't tell the Israelites to destroy the hybrids just because HE IS GOD and He can do what ever He wants. There is always a good reason. One day, everything will be exposed, and we humans will have to say "MY BAD, sorry for misjudging you Lord"

Or, when that day comes, a LOT of people may also say, "What was I thinking? I can't believe I fell for these fairy tales." On the other hand, If I and my skeptical atheist peers are proven wrong, I would sure expect an all-loving, all-powerful god to be forgiving. In the end, I won't worry about it. I have THIS life to live. In any case, I don't think either side will be punished for beliefs. It's hard to imagine 5 billion folks alive today being thrown into hell for not believing in Jesus.
