@nicholask95 Definitely better than the EVO, but not really all that much...

megapixels mainly count when it comes to stretching a picture out, like prints and things. 5 mp's is very good for a phone.

One thing to note is that Touch Wiz is actually 2.5 on the epic. That is for support of the keyboard. The big differences is that on 3.0 you can customize the the home screen (change order/remove them completely) and ordering the apps on the app launcher.

So so sweet. This is definitely the phone to be top-of-the-line out there right now . Sorry iPhone. Sorry evo believe me I checked out so many other reviews of phones literally dozens upon dozens this is the phone

God I love this phone, I have the hero but I so wish I would've waited till now, I love the epic, so fucking epic lol..the GUI sortof puts me in mind of iphones..

You guys are all crazy!! The cameras on both devices are as good as anyone needs currently; unless you work with digital media all day. In that case you need to get a nice CAMERA, not a phone!!

every review knocks on the power button location. I much rather have it on the side than the top (unless it was on the top right corner). My TP2 button button annoys me. it is on top and a lot of the time when I am texting on the QWERTY keyboard, my finger presses the power button and turns off the screen. Good call Samsung

I agree with the other responses about your review. Everyone else has given this phone rave reviews and analyzing your review it is clear that you are nit-picking the device. As an Iphone to EVO user, I am switching to this phone. The photos it takes are horrible on the EVO and the EVO's videos are horribly compressed. So you don't like the GUI or the physical keyboard? That's a personal preference! The EPIC is the fastest phone on the market and you are complaining? Geesh.

i have tha evo...and still within my 30 days for swapping out for tha epic...my stance is on tha camera...is tha epics that much worse than tha evo to not swap out?

@lethlnjektn I don't know what makes you think that epic's camera is that much worse.. It has less megapixels, but stills (photos) are very good and video capture is on par with the evo.. Basically, you don't have anything to lose, only gain (except megapixels ;)

@4N0NYM0U557 well i know tha iphone 4 has only 5mp...but is regarded are tha best camera out right now...i think tha evo's stills r ok...i was wondering if you thought there was a big gap on tha quality with stills between tha two...its thaonly thing really standing in my way
