Good luck finding a cheap DDR cabinet that hasn't already been gutted. Most poor shape used ones still go for more than what I paid for this SX, NX2 + boardset, and all the parts I've picked up.
Basically, yeah. Pump is accessible to the person who has a few thousand sitting around as opposed to the price of a cheap new car (in the case of Supernova 2).
I understand PIU is great, and its not a matter of getting an NX2 machine, I probably should of worded.

I saved up money for a new car(since I finally got my drivers license) but gas(since I was 13) was 3.41 and now is 5.07 I might just keep using my bike...I really have no places to go thats far. I might buy a NX2 or a cheap DDR cabinet and use ITG2PC or stepmania.

everyone seems to be getting an NX2 in there house recently. Or some type of PIU machine.
Even my friend got a machine(granted its a PREX) but still.

I belive it might be due to the fact that PIU machines are cheaper than DDR/ITG cabs. Also PIU is awesome.
