Ironically ran across this song today on my Dad's 80th B'day. Was going to travel to see him, but have to wait because of the snowstorm we just got. I remember when this song came out and I shared with my Dad and he liked it. I am sad for those who are posting here that they didn't have the Dad they needed. My heart goes out to you.

Dan passed away but this song immortalized him. I have lots of album especially from Beatles given from friends and relatives but this is the first album that I bought from my own pocket proudly bringing the 33 from Fairmart in Cebu City Philippines now that store was gone but still his music lives on.......And I still love and play this song with my guitar.

@gjc82071 I was lucky enough to see him at the Universal Ampitheatre when he was promoting his High Country Snows CD. There hasn't beenvery many of his songs, if any, that weren't beautiful. Another couple of songs, I think were in his top 10 was Longer &Auld Lang Syne. Another wonderful musician that died well before his time.
