  • i have a hpi e firestorm flux what tires and wheels are those

  • which tyre will last longer d or s compound

  • how long is the runtime with a 2s 4000mah 20c lipo

  • @123321mushy it really depends on the esc and how much amps it will pull. It should be 10-20 mins though.

  • @SelectRCdotcom also can u get a clear body shell for the firestorm

  • I got a stock brushed motor and replaced it with a 9t brushless. What do I do go up more teeth or less teeth on the pinion.

  • @Y0UCANTPARKHERE less teeth on the pinion. The higher the kv to lower the pinion and higher the spur gear ratio...have fun...

  • where did u get those tires

  • how tight do you set your slipper clutch so that it can wheelie like that? have you ever stripped your spur gear because of having it to tight? and what settings on de esc do you need to change in order to run lipo? thanks

  • @buttfirebaby I set it almost tight. This is ok if the gear mesh is perfect. I have never stripped a spur gear because I am an experienced driver. To run lipo make sure your esc has a auto lipo setting, set your cutoff at 3.2 or 3.1 - You never want a lipo battery to go below 3.0 per cell. So if you have 2S there are 2 cells. 3S there are 3 cells etc.

  • omg!! this is incedible!!!

with 70 km/h or faster backflips

sry for my bad english... i'm german

  • @SLautomodelsport no problem, thank you and thanks for watching...

  • how fast will it go and does it feel fast?

  • @billybiskitboy On a 3S Lipo, a higher pinion and lower spur gear it will easily hit 60mph or more.

  • @SelectRCdotcom woah thanks alot! got mine today!!!

  • Just wanting to know is it capable to run LiPo's with the factoy ESC and motor? Thinking about making this my next purchase after I finish my SavageX.

  • @timmoore8462 they recommend up to 2s but people run 3s but it gets hot real quick

  • @dossa3 yes and you can use a lower pinion and higher tooth spur to bring motor temps down.

  • @timmoore8462 I would recommend 2S only on the stock ESC, 3S will fry it.

  • What tires are those?

  • @MrLimpanS Yokohama Geolandar M/T Tire S Compound!

  • dude is this car durable

  • @amgf360 Did you watch the video, I have a Mamba 5700 on a 2S lipo doing backflips at a BMX Track Full speed.. All thats came off was shock washers. Other than that everything was good. YES VERY DURABLE

  • my slash 4x4 brushless is still more durable it cood get hgit by a car and do nothing

  • @yamaharhinosrule5 i know it will do nothing, if it got hit by a car! lol

  • the unbreakable e-firestorm flux :D Nice vid.

How many time you can drive it without change the battery ??

    (sorry my english suck)

  • @Qcforever2121 almost 40-45 minutes on 8000mah and 15C discharge.

  • @SelectRCdotcom how mutch did this cost you. i wanna buy one thats decently fast and very durable. i think this is the one i want. thanks.

  • great vid,

    whats the song?

    thnx :)

  • @442paul Plain White T's "Revenge"

  • @SelectRCdotcom

    thanks

  • oh sorry i mean batterie i'm german sorry

  • @BrushlessBestie oh lol! ok its a True RC 2S 8000mah that retails for $79

  • hi were did you get your akku ??

and how much did he cost ??

  • @BrushlessBestie Hello, Im not sure what you mean whats AKKU?

  • hi. I've ordered a firestorm Flux brushless. Can you give me some feedback about the car. Is it easy to handle at high speed, whats its max speed, is there a big difference between running it with plain nimh or lipo (i've bought the GP 2s lipo 5300 mah). Also how do you activate the lipo cut-off (on the hpi site it doesn't provide that info). Nice vid by the way ... enjoy playing with it.

  • bist du bescheuert du kannst doch nicht weiterfahren wenn es dir die Dämpfer weg gehauen hat!!!

  • @rustlerbadass - geolander tires are good both on-road and off-road (grass, gravels, dirt, etc.) except on sand. Overall, i think the ground assault grips better though they don't last long as geolander

  • hey do the geolander tires hold up well? and are they any good in grass?

  • @rustlerbadass they hold very good, any 2 wheel drive car will have some difficulty on grass, but these would be better tires....

  • hey do the geolander ties hold up for a while? and are they any good in grass?

  • And when u buy it stock brand new, does it come with any battery at all or do u have to buy one?

  • @Chanceisthebomb The battery and charger are not included. This is good because people can choose what battery they want and not get stuck with something they dont want.

  • and also is there a difference between a flux brushless and a flux or are they the same thing?

  • @Chanceisthebomb same, that Hpi's name for brushless, like vxl is for traxxas.

  • how much run time is this with a 2s lipo?

  • @Chanceisthebomb 20-30 mins. I have 10C discharge which take longer than 20C-30C.

  • @SelectRCdotcom what about a 35c discharge? im new to all this electric stuff

  • @Chanceisthebomb Perfect!

  • @Chanceisthebomb also remember not to discaharge more than 3.1 volts per cell.

ex.) 2S Lipo keep above 6.2 volts

  • @SelectRCdotcom ya it says it can hold 7.4v but how do i know what its at, will the charger say what v its at?

  • @Chanceisthebomb check your nearest hobby store and get a volt meter. Tell them you need to meter that reads the voltage on 2S lipo batteries. They should be no more than $10-$20. While bashing or racing check periodically. Also check motor and esc temps when using lipos. You can change pinions and spurs to bring the temps down.

  • @SelectRCdotcom what temp should the battery stay at or not go over?

  • @Chanceisthebomb not necessarily the battery but the motor and the esc. This is opinion based, but I say if you touch it and it hurts to hot. :C) lol

  • @SelectRCdotcom alright well if i have any questions ill ask u then

  • i have a e firestorm but it always does wheelies. any tips on how to prevent this so i can run it smoothly on road? i dont have much off road terrain in my area.

  • @madm0m0 loosen your slipper cluch, aka the nut that holds your spur gear, try quarter turns to find your sweet spot! :C)

  • @SelectRCdotcom "clutch" sorry typo.....lol

  • does this handle better on road without the ribbed, stock, front tyres. Coz on paving slabs in my back garden ist just under steers and bairly turns.

  • @boxertom94 these have been by far the best tires on road and off. I remember now how it never turn when on the throttle with stock tires. The firestorm has alot of tork, you can always loosen the slipper clutch, but you will lose some punch.

  • how do you take the old tyres off the firestorm. thanks

  • @Buschy009 found a better method, you can bake them on 350 degrees for 25 mins and they should fall right off, then flip over for 15 and do the same. This works much better for me without the acetone.

  • @SelectRCdotcom what battery is that m8 and what website did you get it from thanks.

  • @Buschy009 Its a True RC 2S 8000mah; you can get from SELECTRC.com

  • i just bought these and i'd like to know how you take the old tyres off. thanks.

  • before i buy i just want to see do you only need a pair or do you need 4 tyres. and r u sure they don't wear out on road.

  • @Buschy009 being that it is rear wheel drive you should be fine with them just in the back only. If you had 4x4 then you would definitely want both sets.

  • are these tyres good fro offroad. also are they good onroad. e.g do they wear out.

  • @Buschy009 very soft compound tire that are rugged off roaded designed and can handle well on road! Highly recommended, still have the same tires on them today.

  • i'm thinking of buying them. i will mostly drive on road so would you definately recommend them. they don't wear out like the stock rear tyres. i find the front stock tyres fine. so would be alright if i just buy a pair of geolanders for the rear tyres. thanks

  • do the tyres wear out when you drive it on road. and are they good off road

  • Wow I guess you dont care about a 200 dollar car

  • @MrTechman98 - Try $500+ $299 Car, Lipo Battery $85 and Mamba Max 5700 Esc and motor around $220 and upgraded mods. Everything elso is stock. I do care...lol The purpose of this video was to show you how durable the Firestorm Flux is and after flying over a 6ft BMX hill at full speed and still NOTHING BROKE..

    :C)

  • @SelectRCdotcom Maybe your lucky to get that durable car...I need a more durable car.

  • @MrTechman98 HPI's are very durable. What kind do you have?

  • Do i need to buy Foam Tire Insert, if i get the Yokohama Geolandar and Wheels?

  • Always use inserts they will prevent damage to the rims. In addition now is the time to duct tape the inside of the tires to keep from ballooning.

  • what tires are those?

  • they are Yokohama Geolandar M/T Tire S Compound!

  • very strong truck,, lipo maxamps 2s 6500 eat my spur gear and DIFF SHAFT ,, new 1s on the way

    cool vid man,, 5.5

  • thanks brah!

I like the RC track but LOVE the BMX tracks. Theres nothing like 6-8 ft ramps!

  • nice flip dude! i just got mine last week and its a absolute beast i cant wait to get to a bmx track.
