Man I saw this shit when it was out ! Man FULL RESPECT to Morris ! guys a kin geniouse ! TOTAL ! if I had his balls id suck em myself ! ;) you gotta know humour ! lol x x x
I am beginning to think from the final line and the glance between Anne and Martin that the whole Ryan/Dave dilemma is a fiction set up so that Martin can screw Max. Look again carefully!
Sprawling suburbia and middle age ennui can lead to many strange things. Jam takes them to the extreme but the shards of truth are what made the series so compelling. Sensing that I myself could fall prey to something Jam-like was one reason I moved out of London!
you never know quite what to expect with Chris Morris & this didn't disappoint. How much darker can you get to kick off a series. Pure genius. Amelia Bullmore can do just about any accent going

After seeing brasseye and the day today, i was expecting something very different from jam, all i'll say is it's not a comfortable watch when you're on drugs!
I found this under "bark psychosis" as well. Just looking for a music video or what not. But what the hell is this and what are they talking about. Not from the UK, maybe thats why I don't get it.
As you realised, it was just used for the sketch. By chance I came across a website that has all the scripts and music listings for all of thr 6 series of JAM. I managed to download most of the music (around 65 tracks) and it's the best playlist on my IPod - Bark Psychosis, Coldcut, Brian Eno, The Third Eye Foundation, Funki Porcini, Moodswings... the list goes on and I not only love the series, but the music that Chris has introduced to me to... fantastic.
And it should be the second one down - the channel 4 site. It lists the complete music used in all the sketches.
I also have a Word file with the complete transcript of all the episode's sketches - I can't remember where I found that but it's not on the net now. I've also searched and downloaded most of the music - about 60 of them - it took several months - and it's the best playlist on my IPod...
The style's kinda like a more subtle todd solondz.

Some argue that Blue Jam and Jam were actually satirising humour itself.

This is an interesting show--it barely qualifies as comedy, it's almost a horror series. But it's still funny.

YouTube block links so do a search on google for:
jam music bark coldcut channel 4
And it should be the second one down - the channel 4 site. It lists the complete music used in all the sketches.
