I dont remember very well, but I think your supposed to; go to Death Mountain, and climb up the wines where the Goron is. After he knocks you down, talk to Renado. Then go to Ordon Village, and talk to mayor Bo, and he will learn you how to wrestle, and then give you the Iron Boots. Now, go back to Death Mountain, and wear the Boots when you face the Goron.
Rewatched it and now I get it... this trick allows us to skip walking around, thus dropping another % from a low% run and saving about 10 seconds in an any% run (assuming that the runner actually goes back there after bombs for whatever reason)!
I call this the "bomb splat method" instead. I don't know why...
