Hi - this was titled 'Blues Jam' (Dreamy Lady Session) as it appeared on the Master Tape during the recording of that session - August 1975. It appeared on Thunderwing Productions Limited 'shadowhead' CD releasd by Techiku in Japan, 2001.
@itsawhiteriot You're absolutely right. I have that album and along with "Bump'n'grind" it's one of the very best posthumous releases. However, before buying "Shadowhead" I already owned the track on a Japanese album called "Stroll On". On this album it was listed as "Jailhouse Road Gin Blues". Not the first - and probably not the last - Marc Bolan unreleased track to be given a different title. It started way back in the 1980's with John and Shan Bramley and continued ever since. Boogie On!!
This is a super Bolan blues track,in Plateau Skull mode,I Love all the route66 imagery,it capturesa sense of life on the road in America for Bolan,And i love the opening to the track! Although im sure It's been done before.mmm doh..........Rock On
Great!
