"You're Dead" from Here to Infirmary comes to mind in terms of lyrical content and quality. In terms of songs in the key of A, the Trio have tons and tons, from "You've Got So Far to Go" to "Bloodied Up" to "Another Innocent Girl" to "Time to Waste" to "Mercy Me". Great band.

To be honest this is what pop music should sound like. Agony and Irony is much lighter compared to their older stuff (I'm a big fan of the '97 and Southern Rock days), but their sound is supposed to change. But you'd be kidding yourself if you considered this punk of any sort.

Slowly starting to like this album, this song in particular.

Good comment, its nice to read a person who doesn't have to make apologies while speaking their mind . I agree with you that this is not a punk album but I'm thinking punk is its biggest contribution. If you check the lyrics and check the riffs, they ring of past "punk" bands such as the Damned. ALK 3 has, in my mind always had a pop sensibility while keeping the subject matter pop - abrasive, and somehow that feels good
