good vid, i flew from BHX to Islamabad via Dubai, I wud say the on flight service is very slow on emirates compare to other flights...all in all a decent flight. Going again in April but not sure If I will go with Emirates..might try Eithad this time

I just came into BHX 4 weeks ago and still no new seats in Business Class - a great disappointment. Also we had to use a bus gate at Dubai, even though we were in the new terminal. BHX flight was full!

@adjb585 At time of writing they still don't have the new seats on this route, not even on the overnight flight from BHX-DXB.

@adjb585 They haven't yet :-( their service is going downhill rapidly, see the passenger reviews on Skytrax for example. Shame as they used to be such a great airline, Etihad and Qatar have a better service apparently.

Nice video..I fly from Newcastle to Bangkok via Dubai, I love the NCL TO DXB but hate the DXB to BKK, I like the Airbus 330.200 2-4-2 seating but i dont like the 777.200 or 300 seating 3-4-3 and i'd never pay the business class prices for the Emirates business class seat, I went business class with Etihad and their seats were fantastic from Heathrow, Flatbeds in a pod style, I have enough points to upgrade on Emirates so i will upgarde via Heathrow on the Airbus 380 it looks great, Yeah.

Thanks for the comments. As far as I can recall, at around 6 mins into the video, this would have been over East Anglia towards the North Sea coast, and then into the Netherlands/Germany. Of course I edited and transitioned one clip into another.

Thanks for the compliments on my video. EK is a great airline. I have flown with them from Manila to BHX, Rome and Zurich on many occasions over the past 5 years or so. Good service, very clean aircraft, excellent flight deck staff. EK have flown the Airbus 320 into BHX before but seem to use the 777 mostly these days. Very nice aircraft. I have only flown Business Class so cannot comment on Economy, but I expect that to be acceptable as well.

you actually mean the A330-200, the EK40 flies 777-200 sometimes but usually the 777-300er, whereas EK38 in the evening always flies the A330.
