We have a German Shepherd mix and his name is Sirius too! He's very active & loves to play bite. We're always telling him 'no', and 'sit' ... and he's about six months old now, and finally getting the hang of good behavior. He can be so frustrating at times, but when he cocks his little head to the side, our hearts melt with love and joy. He's a good puppy, and he just wants to play! All the time! lol I just uploaded a video of him at the beach for the first time, if anyone is curious... yay!
i love this video. its great, i had a black german shepard . he was my best mate and was put down january the 5th 2010. i miss him everyday. this video reminds me of him, he looks a great dog
@j902cyp I'm sorry for your loss. It's hard when they leave us but they make our life so much better when they are here. I have no idea how anyone would not want a GSD in their life!
Thank you! It's amazing to look back and see how far we've come. He's completely pain free now, and acts so much younger than before surgery. His temperament just can't be beat either. He's a gentle giant, but definitely a one person kind of dog.
Fantastic story. How do you say no to those eyes? It amazes me that dogs of any breed get on with life after a major operation like that with little fuss. Humans on the other hand would have taken 10 times as long to recover physicly and mentaly!!! Love the dog, loyal, friendship, companion for life. THanks

@robertryan11 I still have him and he's doing wonderfully. Unless I tell people, no one can even tell he's had surgery.

I think he knows and he is lucky to have his real true owner. Congrats.
There is no greater love than a shepherd and its owner, which shows in his eyes. Thanks for the tears showing someone cares.
