  • the house was white because it's made from crushed human bones.

  • WHHHHAT? MISTER DARCY IS REEEALLL? You have got to be kidding. I thought that book was'nt real.

  • @lilaznprincess85 The Book isn't real? They don't say, he is. or did i overhear this? Actually, the book isn't real, but it's very close to what Jane Austen experienced the time, she was writing the book. (Becoming Jane shows a little, what happened this time to her)

  • I love the romance of a grand courty home aswell...and as much as I do not want to distroy the illusion of that, I think its emperative that we all bear in mind that this massive almost obscene degree of whealth was achived by the most ugly & un-democratic system know to man..that of heraldic title.

Also that It was also at a cost of the mass poverty of those suppressed by that system (the other 98% of the population)

Love the art work, but do please keep in mind the injustuce behind the facade

  • @mayanchild Thank you very much for such intelligent and interesting comment :) !

  • @EBD05 You're welcome & thank you for uploading such wonderful vids ... although to be honest I think I'm partial to the original BBC production of P&P- most likely a Colin Firth thing ;). That said, anything containing period frocks & a beautiful historic house is destined to get my attention!

  • @mayanchild Thanks again. I love both versions and Colin is one of my fav actors but Matthew´s vulnerable Darcy bewitched me first and forever. Kisses.

  • If I do ever go to England, which I most sincerely hope to once in my life, I want to go visit this house so much

  • @Shurii135 That´s one of my dearest dreams too.

  • I went to Chatsworth House yesterday and it is indescribably beautiful. I spent about 5 hours there but you could easily and happily spend a day there in the house or in the gardens. I also spied the spot where Mr Darcy talks to Lizzie!

  • @uglywriter Wow you are so lucky!!! Making the P&P tour is my dream and this location must be so amazing, thanks for sharing your experience! Hugs.

  • I've been to Chatsworth. My bragging rights :D

It's even more stunning in real life. Visible poetry everywhere you look. Thank you so much for posting.

  • @Ashasmee Thank you for your nice comment! Really? Doing the P&P tour is one of my dreams!

  • OMG! OMG! Thanks a million for this :) I loved it to bits.

  • @Auroral3orealis Thank you! You are always so kind.I love English culture and history and I´d love to do the P&P tour someday, including all those wonderful locations.

  • @EBD05 :) You're so kind to be uploading all these wonderful videos :)

What a coincidence! So do I! In fact, I'm studying English Studies, which focuses on English Literature, language and Culture... Would be amazing to be able to visit all those pastoral beauties...

  • @Auroral3orealis Really!!! If I had to choose I´d love to visit the "Temple of Apollo" where Darcy´s first proposal took place under the rain,it would be a magical moment!

  • @EBD05 Exactly! I couldn't agree more! That scene is mesmerisingly magical!
