Thank God Hakstol got suspended. Yes, Minnesota should have wanted this kind of game, but North Dakota gave it to them with cheap shots rather than good aggressive play. It's one thing to scrum and quite another to cross check Anderson from behind after the whistle.

The poor picked on Gophers and the mean terrible Sioux...how hilarious. First, this is the exact game that Minnesota wanted. They proved Friday night that they couldn't skate with UND on Olympic ice so they get down play chippy and try and shorten the ice. Between every whistle there was lumber flying and between each whistle there were cheap shots galore. UND were the suckers by letting them draw it into one of those types of games.

Perfect example is the end of game fight. Poor, innocent Anderson got a cross check to the back. Instead of crying foul with your head in the sand actually watch the play. Anderson turns his leg and sticks his knee out attempting to get knee on knee contact with Oshie. Zajac is behind Oshie watching the entire thing. As soon as this happens Zajac breaks off with his man and levels Anderson with a cross check.
