We play SCION also in Germany .. and its damn skilly ... i am also writing the pantheon australopiticae : australian and its goddesses ... wuhahahah ,,, may the great baynee be with you ... !!!
@McMahonHater Fitz is an old word used to mean bastard, or illegitimate. If someone has Fitz in their surname is means that at some point or other one of their ancestors was a bastard.
@clackclickbang Henry Fitzroy was the Duke of Richmond, and the only child of King Richard born out of wedlock. Fitzroy was set to marry his half sister Elizabeth, but died before hand. In the t.v. series the create a back story that he agreed to be turned into a Vampire by his lover, who was only feeding enough to sustain herself. You can look him up on Wikipedia, but I am sure you know who I am talking about.
I've actually used Scion to what I think is an interesting effect. I ran a game from Hero to God, and kept notes of their epic deeds. In a later, unrelated game, I needed a pantheon of gods, but I didn't want to pull from the usual mythologies. Enter my Scion notes. It was pretty cool.
@tetsubo57 You can download them cheap, but you're like me. A whore for books.
Hendrix, eh? A modern-day Pan, perhaps. Einstein and Rasputin are excellent ideas, but Darwin? I'd be interested to see a Scion rationalise their demigod existence through evolution, although I'm sure it can be done.
does SCION have any items if you are a descendant of like the archangels of Judaism?

@ucc3rd Nope, but you can create your own pantheons in the game.

There was a show here in Canada (Toronto) called Blood Ties, that focused on the son of Henry the 8th being a Vampire.

@McMahonHater How bizarre. Edward VI?

@clackclickbang I'm not exactly sure... I haven't watched the show in a while, but he called himself Henry Fitzroy... if that means anything.

@VeritechAlphaBeta That's a damn fine idea, and I may steal it if you don't mind. I think that could be a decent campaign arc for my group.

He was good at leading deceitful excursions into the offices of unsuspecting opponents. +2 modifier when in the cover of darkness.

@DirtyBriefcase Unfortunately he wasn't *that* good. His men were caught!

Richard Nixon would favor those who are not a crook.
DirtyBriefcase 1 year ago
@DirtyBriefcase Ah, but what traits would his descendants exhibit, excluding the obvious sweat and paranoia? What was Nixon good at?
