Most people that are against street racing base their opinions off what theyve seen in hollywood films, and by the accidents they hear about because two kiddos decided to "street race" on a busy highway in broad daylight. Those kinds of idiots give SRs a bad name. REAL racers have spots picked out that are smooth and straight, are away from populated or busy areas, and have little to no thru traffic. It's not like they toss safety out the window.

Shut, you put turbo on any car, you'll sure to beat another without. Just race stock. No turbos, no nitros. That would be fair. Than talk about your imports or V8s. Personally I'll take a V8 for the torc and raw power.

Streetracing would be a lot safer if they would pick the right road. Don't do it on busy roads with cross traffic. That way you won't t-bone anyone. If ppl used their heads, there would be a lot less accidents. Also don't stand in the fuckin road as the cars are going by.

I like both muscle and imports, but I started with muscle, and my allegiance will always be with the muscle. I'll take 900hp N/A over 950hp Turbo anyday.

I like the video, but you guys are way off. Street racing could kill a by stander or even a family driving. Also V-8 are strong true, but so are imports that poor a lot of money and weight less than a muscle car. Don't talk crap, just go to the track and make the best car win. Don't street race guys keep our streets safe please!!!

I feel, It aint like it used to be. Years ago there was nothing better than watching a Steel Bodied, Full Interior, Un-tubbed, Naturally Aspirated, Greasey Fingerprints Still On The Fenders, Streetcar eat up a 9 second Racecar. Those were some good races, You guys know who you are. I was there. Long live: Elston, Clybourn, Fulton, Ogden, Chicago/Cicero and any other well kept secrets from years past !!!

@biscaynenick I have the best memories from the mid-late 1980s, street racing on 123 Dolly Madison, West Mooreland and Route 7 outside of Langley, McLean, Tyson Corner and Falls Church in everything from old Chevelles to Late-Model 5.0 Mustangs and IROC-Z Camaros... and cops were cool with it as long as it wasn't right in town or city limits... Times have changed...thanks Honda guys...LOL!!!
