  • I'm not sure why anyone would even bother with this. That thing is obviously not made to flex. I do wonder about something though.....could you get decent flex out of an IFS that is made of custom DOM links and HMS/Heims? I see it on the 2WD Baja trucks, and those suckers have some serious droop when seen flying through the air.

  • I have a jeep but just saying I bet that the fj had sway bars that prevent flex. this allows better on road driving. Just saying

  • $40K truck that cant clear a curb! Money well spent!

  • IFS? so it's not really flex

  • Anything ifs is fucking junk, if you lift it it's still junk. Cut it out and weld in a solid axle

  • If he hit the atrac, it would roll itself. I work for Toyota, and wheel toyotas, in a Toyota club. This is all these Fjs got. They are junk and made for the road. These are useless for Offroad stock, just like the new tundras. They say "trd rock warrior" on em but there is nothing rock or warrior about them. Like your trail rated jeep lol, it's a sticker. The fj is not what it used to be. It's made for ladies going to the store in snow.

  • What a joke.

  • was it in 4x4

  • Great truck!

  • who the fuck is listining to steve winwood!!

  • @69mrcrash

  • Haha I've seen curbs bigger than that

  • @basssolow5 no you havent!

  • @topal002 it maxed out retard. If it could keep going it would have flopped. That's all this things got. And I would like to add you can't see shit out of these things. This thing is almost as dumb as the "rock warrior" tundras. They just don't live up to the name.

  • @TheDeathCrawler; actually, your ignorance is showing. Had he simply hit the rear lock or ATRAC switch, he could have gone right on up with that reat tire off the ground. It is a flex test to see how much suspension flex he has, hot to see how far he can ramp.

I own a locked '86 CJ and an FJ; the Jeep has MUCH more flex but the FJ would have gone right on up and been much more comfortable.

    Different vehicles for different tastes.

  • ifs sucks for flex get a jeep or do a solid axle swap.

  • @notingXworks jeeps axles suck tho

  • hahaha send a POS to do a jeeps job... sad factory jeeps can out climb and flex that thing... funny that it didnt look completely flexed but it lost traction before it could climb more

  • @thecrew2999 okay, then turn on atrac and it'll go up further

  • @bhanner95 ya y didnt they do that

  • @thecrew2999 since he was checking flex and not maxing the ramp, when the rear tire lifted, he was max flexed. Locking the rear of using ATRAC (both the push of a switch...) would have sent him on up the ramp. However, that wouldn't have really proven anything about his flex. FWIW, my CJ7 will far outflex my FJ...

  • From the show room floor, the FJ is one of the best in off road capability. You just can't expect it to have that much travel and still meet the demands of the market. Not sad at all.

  • Sad. Only way to get that thing to flex is to get a torch and start cutting the street suspension and weld in some man shit otherwise let the wife get groceries in it cause it's a girl truck.

  • @TheDeathCrawler bitch they braked if they didnt it could have went up

  • @topal002 Huh, did you see the rear tire spinning? That means it maxed out! You go until a tire comes off the ground -- other than the one on the ramp -- so he was done!
