@earthshaker1213 the gold wheel means that you have been playing with the wii wheel 50% of the time on wifi the stars above the wheel means that you have cleared all the tracks with one two or three stars. If you don't play with the wii wheel such as the gcn controller or the numbchuck only the stars show up

ATTENTION, RED ALERT, and all the people that have mario kart wii take notice of this comment when playing wfc Vs or battle, when I played mario kart wii on May 5 2010 some mii named X-my-arce hacked his game and stayed behind in the race to torchure people with strong items, when I was in first he hacked his game to always get good items and kill me with about 3 spiny shells every second and when I was last he would wait till I got in front of him the use stars and other strong items

@Multimariomaster64 There was one race I played when I first started playing MK online and there was one hacker in this race. I never knew he was a hacker since I'm new to the online world of MK. I got second but the hacker got first so I practically got first since the guy in front of me was a cheater. Also, these hackers sometimes in the race disappear and then a second later that guy is in a different part of the track.

Just before the big jump near the end of the lap on Coconut Mall, go on the zipper pad but turn right. This saves approx. 3 secs per lap (loads). Also, in the square just before the area indicated above, go left or right and over the zipper pad. Hope this helps! :-)

It's race after race and you have an online rating system. Based on the position you finished the race in you gain Versus Rating points also called VR points. You can do tournaments with friends though if you want.

take shortcuts.

i know lots and lots, and i also use them...

thats why my rating is 6797.

the shortcut for the map u were on is on the top floor of the mall, instead of going down the escallater keep going ahaed, so your on the top floor.

then theres a shop with a open door.. go through it... then u come out further then everyone else... do it for 3 laps and u will be first.
