loving the Ian Anderson! (Jethro Tull) seen him in concert before. it was amazing and i actually have this album on vinyl. loving your style of movie making. sometimes i do it like that. loving the creativity you bestow. did i spell everything right? omg
Thanks, man! Yeah, Tull were incredible in concert....saw 'em in early '79 and they were balls to the wall powerful....that was such a great concert and I always wanted to see them again...sorry I didn't.
Strangely enough, saw this comment come over as I'm actually sitting here working on (again!) my vid for "Aqualung", but I'm having a rough go with this one.....too much pressure on the iconic numbers, I'd better do back to my deep album tracks! LOL!
@MetalGuruMessiah I hear you on the tough times. sometimes a video can stump you.
it's so hard to just sit on a edit. well i must go offline now. i hope you will have better luck on the video. hey have you tried out zippcast yet? check it out. um what about the iconic numbers? i will get back to you at a later time. have a stellar weekend.
Holy crap!! AWESOME upload; I thank you SO much for this!!
I remember Tromsø 1991; we played it so loud that people came from the streets knocking on the door & was sticking their heads through the windows asking what song it was. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
Thank you so much for the very kind comment! I'm happy you enjoyed it! It's definitely a great tune to PLAY LOUD! ....at least loud enough to make dishes, and other household items not bolted down, chug and lurch forward to the beat like mini-locomotives! LOL!
Very well done! I got to see Tull in concert once, and the combination of energy, enthusiasm and sheer artistry blew me away. This video is a wonderful tribute - kudos!
Thank you! Yeah, I saw them too (as below) and had the same impression as you. I already loved the band by the time I saw them, but I really had no idea how powerful and wonderful they would be live in concert. Incredible musicianship....and Ian knew how to command that stage and work his audience. Thanks for commenting!
Gotta love this one! Just please, no Slim Whitman uploads in near future. (I lmao at that story-LOL) I saw them also on "Stormwatch" Tour, in Oct. 79 in Memphis. Halloween night. Some idiot threw a lug-nut or something & hit Ian Anderson on the side of his head. He was pissed (rightly so) but after a short intermission, he & flute returned to Keep On Rockin'! As I said, love the vid....the album & about every song that's on it that I can think of right now. Thanks for posting this tune & Rockon!
I worked in a record store in the early eighties and we used to love to crank "Locomotive Breath", or BOC's "Joan Crawford", or a couple of others with nice....quiet .....mellow intros...some of the older patrons, usually those hanging about in the Slim Whitman area, would sometimes come over to ask what's that nice, beautiful music playing....sometimes before they got the words out of the mouths....ROCK!!!!....usually they decided against a purchase. LOL! Good times! Thanks!.
I saw them once (on the Stormwatch tour) in January 1979, which I'm astonished to find.....as I just checked a web site to get the date they played the Convention Center Arena in San Antonio......was John Glascock's last concert. Wow....I definitely remember him on the stage though! Great, GREAT concert...JT could rock with the best of them! I remember several people remarking about how hard they rocked after the concert ended and the crowds were exiting. Thanks so much!
Only jethro tull could make a flute rock like a mother fucker \m/ ^_^ \m/

Truer words have seldom been spoken! :-) Might be a long time before anyone else can ever repeat Tull's accomplishments in this regards!? Thanks!!!!
