I love Matt's voice. I wish I could cover this too but I don't know how to scream whatsoever. I, too, am female so I'd probably need to go up an octave or two on some parts since I'm far more soprano than I am an alto.

distorted as in raspy? the half scream thing? I don't know the correct term but all I did was listen to mettalica, mimic him first.. then I moved onto pantera.. then to avenged.. im still having a hard time making my high notes raspy though.. takes alot of practice

Hey dude one thing I noticed that might help you is to think about the pitches that are coming up in the phrase. I noticed that on some notes your a bit off in the beginning but then once you hear them you fall in. If you just hear the upcoming pitches in your heard you'll be more mentally and vocally prepared or the phrases. Other than that youre doing a phenomenal job.
