i think this song (and video) is about how people with bad thoughts or actions will always carry them to wherever they go, and in the end will all fail on their endeavours, like the guy who cheats on cards or the agressive pirate. And people who doesnt know what they want at all (andrew) will get to nowhere at all.

I love this band. I've been playing the album "National Anthem..." for months, just such great songs and musicianship from these guys. Such a great spirit--such a universal-sensibility, Catholic, in the sense of real great Western art.
