  • Women WILL overcome Islam

  • Media has potential for good use in democracy, It's just a shame you rarely get real live debates on air.

Unfortunately you get channels like "fox news", and others which abuse it, using complete bias and propoganda, ruining the original intention of it.

  • she is fooling you all the time .alot of girles are wearing pants in sudan...plz send herto your paradise that what she want

  • Wearing trousers is NOT a serious crime in Sudan. Conspiring with foreign embassies against the country's national security IS!

  • @abdulesh, so why exactly was this woman subjected to government's harassment if dress code is not a serious offense? We Sudanese need to grow up with respect to emerging changes and respect for diversity or disintegration is inevitable. I don't care what Mohammad said 2000 years ago; he is not here now; we are and must mind our own business, not his.

  • @TMayai

First of all congratulations to South Sudan on turning the clock back and bringing colonial powers back to Africa 50 years after they were kicked out! Second, the only change that emerged lately is the World's need for the moral objectivity that Islam provides, we only have to look at the recent financial collapse caused by greed and dishonesty to realize that. If you were not so ignorant you would have paid attention to the Bishop of Canterbury about the need for Sharia in British law.

  • @abdulesh: Just like Eritrea, independent South Sudan will just be any world's nation. Man up and see us leave peacefully. Only Muslims who exercise no faculty of their own need inept Islamic laws, not everyone on the universe. I heard Quran teaches diversity, have you missed this in your classroom? Broaden your horizon about the world, brother.

  • @TMayai

Third and most important, the teachings of Mohammed (PBUH) are what the Sudanese People as a whole chose as a way of living, we will not allow racist, hateful and imperrialist agents like you to rob us of our right to choose how we live. We are so happy that you are finally getting you off our back, we sick and tired of carrying your burden for decades. The world will welcome the most failing state in south sudan, a state riddled with corruption, incomptency, rand acial and tribal wars.

  • @abdulesh: No, we are divorcing you, not you getting us off your back. All states go through tough times and taxing transitions. Southern Sudan isn't an exception. But one thing is sure eminent: we will be governed on the basis of ingenuity, not pure fanaticism and outdated religious doctrines that lead to poor treatment of women and people of distinct interests. The world needs not the teaching of Mohammad, you do as a Muslim, a thinking you must develop to understand the world better.

  • @TMayai

You have so much irrational hatred and anomosity for Muhammed and his teachings and the Arab race. You are on the wrong side of history, Islamic teachings have proven their worth time and time again, even Western philosophers testify to that. Your hatred is not the result of your independent thinking, but it's what the colonial masters put in your head. You will NOT be able to build your new state based on hate and prejudice. I honestly suggest you rid yourself of those ugly sentiments.

  • @abdulesh: Such a baloney. When my people took arms in 1983, the Reagan Administration, a western power, was arming you. The west, coupled with your Jihadists in the mideast, toiled strongly to dislodge us from our holds in Ethiopia by using the Eritreans. We triumphed in the face of all these negative odds. So to suggest that we are western puppets simply prompts your usual ignorance. Your case with the west has no link to South Sudan: you are terrorists who hosted Osama for years.

  • @abdulesh: They might be worthy of something deserving but your northern attitudes have adversely affected the image of Islam in the Sudan. Even a Maltan Muslim who gave a talk in my class ridiculed the Sudanese Muslims, saying Sudan has no principled Muslims but those who misuse a good old Islam for personal gains. Yes, I agree with you: hatred is not a solution to any problem but forgiveness must also be earned. That is, we will forgive you when you come to your senses. Nafi already is.

  • @TMayai

Your state's failure is alreay evident. During five years of autnomy, you built NOT one road, NOT one factory, except a beer factory!!! Your people are starving to death while you arm yourself to the teeth. You can't maintain law and order and asked the North to do it for u. Non-Dinka tribe people are being slaughtered. You state is a puppet for the americans, you brought colonial powers back to Africa, 50 years later. Africa's founding fathers must be turning in their graves.!!!

  • @abdulesh: This is pure bitterness, isn't it? Roads have been built connecting the ten states; health and educational facilities have increased and improving, from nothing under your subjugating, racist rule to the mighty state we currently are; maternal, infant, and child mortality have dropped significantly in the last 5 years. The north had 49 years to develop and build the entire Sudan, so give us a break.

  • @TMayai

You are getting mixed up rediculousely. So let me set the records straight for u. Your rebellion started in 1955 before Bin Laden was even born, heck before Sudan even got independent. Up until then the British totally closed the South from the outside world and Northerners were not allowed to enter. That's why your region is so backward and primitive. The British planted in ur head the fear and hatred of Northerners and their way of living which is based on Islamic teachings.

  • @abdulesh: The teachers you referenced were Islamic preachers, not formal educators. Since the north uses Islam as an oppressing tool, our action was justified. We careless about your dirty life; we have the world's richest, so stop kidding fanatic yourself. North Sudan is backward, intolerant, and losing ground--that is why we are having this discussion.

  • @TMayai

So what do u do at the onset of your rebellion? You attack and kill the few Northern teachers who were trying to educate you and lift you from pan of ignorance, and you continue your mad aimless hate-fuelled war for 17 years which cripples and exhausts the country, and this wayyy before the Government became Islamicized. To help stop the war, we gave you many concessions and compromises in 1972 and gave you virtual self-rule.

  • @abdulesh: The point is, our quest for freedom has nothing to do with the West, a rebuttal to your prior claim. You continue to live in utopia, overlooking the virtual fact that South Sudan went to war twice because of the imposing of pathetic Islamic laws, economic inequity, and segregation of all sorts. We were cheated in 1972, hence the second war. Today is no longer about compromises; it is about us demanding and getting what requested in whole. Embrace the defeat, Muslim brother.

  • @TMayai

Defeat??!!! Ha ha good one, we kicked your ass time and time again, that's why you have bring the US Marines and UN to shield you from us like the cowards you are. You could NOT have what you have now unless WE gave it to you out of charity. This is it, we are sick and tired of you and your racism, primitivsm and hatred for us, Islam and our Arabic culture, now go away, and I double warn against exporting your troubles to us ever again. This conversation is over!

  • @abdulesh: How many Northern leaders left office because of the guerrilla we staged? We almost took over Juba in 1992 until your money bought Southerners stabbed us in the back. In the North exists nothing but Hijabs and jalabias, so quit your lies that have unfortunately backfired on you. Even the smallest faction of the Darfur Movement overran Omdurman. We are not done with you: this is just the beginning--we will support Darfur and the Nuba Mountains to bring you to your senses.

  • @TMaya

Bullocks, we kicked your ass for decades and we are happy to do it anytime. And if you wanna play that game, don't foget that we invented it. Try something that stupid and we will overrun and take you down in hours. Just try.

  • @TMayai

We embarked on developing your primitive region, and you took the lion's share of our limited resources. We built a university there when there were only 3 national universities in Sudan. But because you have no desire for peace, you launched yet another rebellion when the lesser tribes of Nuer and Shillok were to be given a voice in the South, something the the autocratic domineering Dinka didnt want, and another destructive war ensues.

  • @TMayai

Because we love peace, we agreed to stop the war in 2005 and gave you more than you deserve, which inferioated the vast majority of us. Don't forget that during the war your people fled to the NORTH, and we hosted 1 million of them throughout. So much for subjagating and opression huh? Gohn Garang lived like a king in Nairobi in the most affluent area. Your politicians impuzzled your allocation of funds and food stuff and sold them in Kosti and bought mansions in the NORTH in Khartoum.

  • @abdulesh: Like you truly had a choice? We feed you, so beat it with your claim of having given us anything. What has the desert North to become a recourse for anybody? Oil is in the South, remember? Obviously, the North is all about money, not humanity. John Garang, an African hero, lived and died broke because of Northern fanatics. So we are corrupt, huh? What about the recent release indicating Bashir having $9 billion in foreign account?

  • @TMayai

John Garang lived like a war profiteer, and was assasinated by his "friend" Yori Mosevini of Uganda and your own leader Slava Kiir in a feverish power struggle, stop blaming us for your troubles! All of Africa is ashamed of your actions and bringing the colonial powers back to our backyard. The North is rich with resources, oil, gas, fertile land, water and most importantly BRAINS. We developed the oil industry in the harshest conditions when you did everything possible to cripple it!

  • @abdulesh: Ahahaha. Oil, fertile land? You have no idea where North Sudan is, do you, brainwashed Muslim brother? If the North had BRAINS why did it miserably succumb to us in Naivasha in 2005? If it did, why does it have the dumbest president on earth? Your power has always been around money, not brains. And now that we have taken our resources back, expect hell of a ride while we properly engage your devilish society.

  • @abdulesh

Only an ignorant, racist , hate-filled person would believe those childish, ridicolous and baseless allegations. Yet another attempt from your colonial masters to smear the reputation of the true nationalistic hero AlBashir. But to no avail, we will not bend or weaver or relent. Long live Free and Independent Sudan.

  • @abdulesh: Arab pride, huh? Your close minded society never accepts defeat, does it? Bashir, the like of Saddam Hussein, will go down. Trust me. And Sudan is not free as long as persons like Lubna are policed on what to wear. How outdated is the North's thinking!

  • @TMayai

Bashir is still strong and in charge while you assasinated your own leader Garang and replaced him with this puppet Salva. The whole Sudanese people supports him whole-heartedly, you and your colonial masters can do nothing! You talk about backwardness when your people still go out half naked and intoxicated with marisa all day, inept and incapable. We showed you time and time again in Abyei that if you tmess with us, you will get your ass kicked back into the stone ages. Simple!

  • @abdulesh: We kicked you out of Abyei in 2008 but let's see in a few months. Those who clean up after themselves with their own empty hands, not toil paper, must be the world's most advanced, right?

  • @TMayai

Toilet paper? don't be stupid. Your people used to relieve themselves in the streets and drainage ditches of Khartoum, who knows what they cleaned themselves with: tree leaves or stones or nothing at all. Your people were responsible for every outbreak of cholera in Khartoum. Are those the freedom fighters that you will count on to invade all of Sudan? Don't be redicolous. Don't take a bigger bite than you can swallow, or we will make u choke on ur words!

  • @abdulesh: Some news for you: Bashir at Jazeera has offered the South Sudan a 100% oil share if the South Sudanese would opt for unity in the coming referendum vote. He also added that he would meet with Islamic Shura to scrap the 1983 Islamic Sharia laws. He actually met with the Shura and the Shura members told him to go to hell together with the South Sudan. If this offer was initiated in 2005, it might have had positive impact on the decision of the South Sudan.

  • @abdulesh: Unfortunately making such offer at this critical time is too little too late.

  • @TMayai

Bullocks, you were not for unity from the get go, that's why u assasinated Garang. You don't get to decide anyway, it's America who rules you by proxy. Dude, we agree on one thing, I want you to go, always did. Now I know you will export your troubles to us and start another war to avoid the eminent civil war between the Dinka and Nuer. Do that and you will find yourself suffacted between the might of the Sudanese army in the North and disgruntled Nuer in your backdoor. Have fun!

  • @abdulesh: With your insane Allah, you tried in the 1990s but failed miserably. We eliminated 10,000 Mujahideens who were fooled would ultimately go to Allah if they were killed in his name, and destroyed numerous war planes. And this happened when you were merely rebels; Khartoum is our destination for this next war. Misserias are just distracting, so we are not paying attention. Soon or later, they will be dealt with accordingly.

  • @TMayai

We failed, did we? So who exactly kicked your ass in Torit and Kpoita and Mile 40 u wothless piece of shit? And why couldn't u "liberate" Juba, your so-called capital for 50 years you ignorant inefrior sorry execuse for a human being? Dude, it's be a circus, and amuzement park, and it's gonna be hilarious!

  • @abdulesh: You are wasting my time, but your reactions couldn't surprise me. That is what normally happens with a loser. Hang yourself or build some muscles to help you live with the sad news of South leaving.....

  • @TMayai

Oh no..we are just getting started, you are not leaving any where. Until we tell you ya 3bd ya inb al 3bd ya klap!

  • @TMayai

You wanna know something? For a while I thought you had a worthwile cause, that's why I tried to reason with you in here. But all I got from you is hatred for Islam and Arabs, racism and ignorance. I warned you not to play by a game that we invented, I tried to wake you up, and direct you to the right path of building a nation. But you ignored my righteous calls, now you have only yourself to blame. Say hello to your bleak destiny!

You have been forewarned to no avail!

  • @TMayai

Hey Liberater..the Misseriya Wariours detained two sounds of your citizens in exchange for their cattle that your Sudanese Liberation Army thugs stole, why don't you go ahead and liberate them? U wanna see opression? U havent's seen oppression yet. I swear to Allah that we will obliterate you and erase you from the map!

  • @TMayai

For your own sake, know your limits and don't play with fire. You are no match for our might and resolve. All what will happen is you will get your ass kicked and you will go crying for the UN to protect you. I fully expects that you will try to export your failures and problems to us. But I double warn you to do something so stupid. You don't want all hell to break loose, you can't handle it, trust me!

  • @abdulesh: Our limit is Sudan and the final eradication of Arab mentality. The game is in full swing and I sure you that we are more than determined to make you repay all you have done to the South, Darfur, the Mountains, and the East. Surrender, or succumb shamelessly!

  • @TMayai

You must be dreamin or intoxicated with marisa like your weak, diseased, starved, stone-age primitive illiterate people. You really think that a bunch of pathetic hopeless ignorant primitives can do that? Apparently you forgot how you got your ass kicked in Torit and Kpoita. You couldnt even take your own territory despite 50 years of trying and conspiring with America, Israel, Kenya, Uganda, and Ethipiopia. This is gonna be interesting, we will be waiting for your ass, let's get it ON!

  • @TMayai

You will be up to your yum yum occupied with the massive tribal wars and genocides that will ensue in your own backyard when the Dinka try to oppress the Nuer and Shillok. If you still feel like doing something stupid, then by all means, be my guest, but I warn you again, you can't handle us, we just superior, simple!

  • @TMayai

You assasinated your own leader Gohn Garang because you feared he favored unity, which shows what type of criminals your leadership is. Life has not improved in the South, your government can't pay salaries. The return of a mere 500,000 of your people from the North to vote caused food shortages and starvation. You have not paved 1 road, only a handful of gravelled roads. You built not ONE factory, except a beer factory! You mascred thousands of Nuer and Shilloks.

  • @abdulesh: This is nonsense. Last message to you: we are done with you, so decide to hang yourself or accept to live with the consequence of your own intolerance and an outdated Islamized ideologies. You may continue to oppress your women but not southerners.

  • @TMayai

This is gonna be a Dinka-dominated state rife with tribal wars and genocides in a scale seen only in Rwanda and Borondi . Now do you understand why I am happy that you and your never-ending troubles are finally getting off our back? Now we can continue the path of developement that we embarked on in the North that made us the country with the highest potential in Africa second only to South Africa. I, along with many in the North, wanted cessation 20 years ago.

  • Many of the europeans here are nothing but a bunch of racist, sexist, Islam-hating bigots. It's no wonder, you are the descendants of slave masters and the colonial monsters who committed the ugliest crimes against humanity in history in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and europe, be it attrocities, holocausts or world wars, taking the lives of 100s of millions of lives. You hate Islam cuz stands on ur way to world domination. Eat your heart out, your ancestors tried and failed, and so will you.

  • To every foolish person who posted a comment here thinking that this an isolated case of one woman wearing trousers, you should know that this woman used to work for the UN in Sudan, and thought that would make her above the law. Her behaviour in the aftermath, and the plain lies she told in every platform that opposes our way of living proves that she used to have contacts with foreigners in Sudan in a manner that undermines our national security. Know thefacts before you jump to conculsions

  • There is no verse of the Qur'an which teaches punishing anyone for not covering themselves with a jilbaab (outer cloak). The Qur'an tells it's readers (men and women) to SAY to the believing men and women to do so, not to force them or punish them if they do not do so. And there is to be no coercion in matters of religion (2:256). Here attire does not seem to be immodest or alluring for men; her trousers are covered by a loose garment. So the problem is due to harsh and unIslamic man-made laws.

  • Comment removed

  • This woman has appeared in every TV station in France, Norway, Egypt that is know to look down upon the Islamic and Arab way of living, telling nothing but lies and tarnishing the image of our woman who have gained the highest education and do the best jobs in Sudan. I am appalled by her lack of awareness about the imminent dangers facing our Country first of which is invasion by imperialists who want to undermine our independence.

  • @abdulesh

she's right, but why are you so inferior !!! its not your country's facing imminent danger, but rather your ego!!!! so pity of you to comment that, ALLAH is merciful, how can you do that!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I have watched another clip for this liar in Norway where she told nothing but a bunch of flat bold lies about Sudan. For example, she claimed that our government started forcing women to undergo genital mutilation (Tahoor) when in fact this government banned the practice and did everything humanly possible to stop it including arresting the midwives who perform it secretly. This shows how far this person would go to any length to tarnish the image of our country for her own dirty self interests

  • Sorry Ms Loubna, in the USA, when we get a trafic ticket, it is the cop who is the accuser and the witness, most judges take the cops' word, not the accused. Get over it and respect your religion and country's laws.

  • You are a Muslim, Act like one and stop imitating the Kuffar, They do not like you, they do not respect you, so stop being a hypocrite, and plz cover yourself properly, that is not a hijab you are wearing. Ignorance really. If you do not like a law, try to change it. Sudan is an Islamic country, and frankly dress code should be enforced in muslim countries. You want to walk half naked go to western countries where a woman is raped every 3 min and a woman is killed every 5 min. cheap fame seeker

Stupid are those who relaxed their morality to the point they became afraid to walk in the streets, where women are kidnapped, raped, killed, sold off to sex slavery every 3 min or so, ie USA, china, Russia, Mexico, Brazil, really? get educated on the topic before you judge Sharia. By the way, all religions of God are against promiscuity of men & women

Why don't u be honest and admit that you would welcome an American invasion of Sudan? Which would bring more destruction to the counry than that seen in Iraq , Afghanistan, and Veitnam, just so that you can live a life of decadence and in7lal after suppressing and liquidating the Sudanese man and marginalizing our way of living. You and your likes have gone as far away as supporting traitors and criminals like Yassir 3rman and the zionism and imperialism agents of the SPLM.

Western men and christian men will criticize its treatment of women, but they too envy the muslim men who are respected by women in there societies. The bible tells of the role of the woman and the man in gods world just as the koran. The only difference is that islam actually lives that truth.

  • Sure Im Joking! I'm just criticic about the multiple lectures of the Sacred books.

  • That's a relief, icaro2000. Honestly, I was unable to tell. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if it were true, considering the utter absurdity of government promoting the lashing of citizens and handing down jail sentences for wearing pants. Thank goodness for the internet and YouTube, exposing useless, discouraged thinking for all to see.

    'Most and best.

  • Which god said that?? Women can do whatever they like!!

  • muslims in France are not to wear what they like and you make propaganda out of a police case in a different nation and culture!!!!!

  • as long as there are women like her in Sudan, we will be just fine. the problem is most Sudanese are scared of being harassed by the gov.

  • muslims in France are not to wear what they like and you make propaganda out of a police case in a different nation and culture!!!!!

  • Actually I think the Muslims in France should be returned to their shitty countries

  • i am talking about sudan and sudanese women specifically. i am not talking about islam i am just talking about women rights. which Sudanese government and men have no clue about apparently. btw that police case is worth more than the small "light on/ attention" that it got. :) cheers

  • @zee2011

You are right, the Sudanese people are scared to death of being harrassed by the government, the American government. We are cocerned about the barbarism this government has shown time and time again in Veitnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. We are aware that the colonial powers, old and new, want to undermine our independence, and exploit our resources using empty pretexts, like this lubna. That's why we have to to watch out for traitors like her, and erm YOU!

  • @abdulesh @abdulesh

oh my! so the American government told lubna to wear pants so that they could take over Sudan?! wow it is clear to me now! im a traitor to my country! you have opened my eyes! THANK U!

what our enemies do is turn us against each other. using religion and racism.

how the police treated her is what brings shame to sudan NOT what she did.

  • @zee2011

U r too ignorant to notice: The American government will use the lies she told in the aftermath of this affair to invade Sudan; didn't she say that the Sudanese government imposes genital mutilation on girls when in fact the government banned the practice and prosecuted the midwives who perform it? Didn't she use an isolated case of violence against ONE women to give the impression that women are facing genocide in Sudan?

  • @zee2011

You are dishonest and a liar zee. Speaking of the police: you forgot to point out that the court offered to dismiss the case in for a small fine. But lubna insitsed on escalating the matter and using it to tarnish the image of our country (mine, not yours) using platforms that are known to oppose us and our way of living in France and Norway. She thought that the UN is above Sudanese sovereignity. You have no diginity or pride and no concept of what freedom and independence are.

  • Comment removed

  • @zee2011

Nothing brings shame on Sudan. Only some Sudanese women like you and lubna bring shame onto themselves by abandoning our values, principles, and our way of living, and in the process conspiring against the country (have u heard of the Northern girl caught smuggling billions of pounds to Southern Sudan?). You support an American invasion of the country; you betrayed your father and your brothers to get them out of the way so you can live a life of decadence and in7lal. Shame on you!!

  • @abdulesh

hahahahaaha it was very entertaining reading your nescient ignorant irrelevant childlike argument... i think you talk without even thinking about what youre saying. abandoning our values? in7lal? betraying our brothers and fathers? damaging the image of sudan?

people like you do not deserve my time.

    cheers

Why don't u stop getting hysterical and repeating my words, and try to provide a logical counter-argument to mine if you can? Truth is you can't, because you are void of values, morality, knowledge , and decency. You don't think, you can't think! You and the shallow brainwashed so-called gender pieces of nothing have been exposed for what u really are: a sorry bunch of immoral stupid ignorant whores who don't mind bringing destruction to our Fatherland for the love of degradation.

  • @abdulesh i quoted what you said in the hope that you will see how crazy it sounds but never mind.

i do not see how a person who results to curses and insults whilst theyre arguing for the honor of their fatherland, traditions, religion and culture.

when you grew up i will indeed provide you with all the counter arguments you need. ;)

  • @zee2011

Look you miserably failed to bring up ONE valid point, you obviousely have nothing to say, no cause, no issues, if you truley do, then why don't you state right now what rights women in sudan are deprived of, I dare you to mention a few. Be honest, specific and direct so everyone here can benifit. Go for it!

  • @zee2011

Just like I expected, you can NOT name ONE human right women in Sudan are deprived of. So, as a Sudanese man who have a live conscience, I ask you, why exactly did you blindly and foolishly think that this lubna advocates a just cause? And more importantly, can Lubna herself answer this question for me? What human rights are Sudanese women deprived of, that justiefies conspiring with ex-colonial powers that want to rob us of our independence?!

  • @abdulesh They should mine their own business!! Ur right that why Franc does not want women to wear modesty. Because they are afraid that if women will start to wear modesty …haha >>nobody will buy the fashionable new style that man crate for women that why they don’t like Islam.

  • I call Pew's law on you hobatu.

  • "God said"? Where? When?

  • If you're being sarcastic, then I apologize. If not, I stand.

  • I am and I did. Thanks for playing. Now go back to church and try not to breed.

  • Hobatu, I just spoke with God and He said He changed His mind about that. Sorry buddy.

  • I wonder if she will except the flogging if it comes down to that verdict

  • dirtysoles, go back to school and learn how to use your words.

  • Strong women like her change the world, they always have and they always will. Her strength is no match for the terrified few who would seek to stifle her.

  • Well said, bravo.
