I love exercising at home when i can sit in my barcalounger with my laptop and watch the instructor sitting on her sofa for the first 4.5 minutes allowing me to become motivated to do some exercising. Who am i kidding.... the closest i get to exercising is watching Zuzanas vids. :P

I have a cold right now.it's not that I'm totally exhausted all the time but you know..my nose and head is blocked and everything and i have muscle soreness.so my question is, whether it'd be better to rest a day or just don't go to an extreme intensity in my workout or to do my workout like always.cause i read that you shouldn't do workouts when you're "ill",but when i skip them if i feel like i do now, i always have the feeling of searching for a bad excuse...

@Sheriichi - You can't really target fat loss. Lots of people try to sell solutions that do this, but working your abs doesn't burn the fat in your abs and working your legs doesn't burn the fat on your thighs. What it does do is increase the size and tone of muscles in these areas, and, when combined with general weight loss can make the area look thinner and more toned. I think that's Zuzana's message too.

Zuzana, 166 cm is not short. That is aprox. average height for women in North America.
I am a Slavic woman and I can relate to where you said you used to store more weight (i.e. thighs and butt).
What I found personally diet wise to get rid of all of the extra weight in those areas is a diet high in protein with vegetables - cutting out all starches and high glycemic carbs.
With a short period of time of on this diet the fat completely melted off from the thighs and butt. I recommend that.

i have a question- i'm pretty slim, only my butt an thighs are a 'bigger' than i'd like them to be. so do you think it's enough if i do the workout and jog regularly or do i have to combine it with the diet? because i'm really not a diet person and i actually don't really want to lose weight (well, i don't need to), i only want to get rid of some of the thigh and butt volume
@Sheriichi In order to cut the fat from between the skin and muscle here is what you have to do. #1 Cut sugars and carbs from your diet as much as possible. #2 cut your sodium as it hold water on your body and women hold extra water and store more fat anyway so its not a bad idea at all. Diet soda, V8, and soups are LOADED with sodium unless you cut it back.
Some of the best ways to get in shape are to cut processed foods and NO HFCS at all.
Superset your legs/thighs and cut the crappy food.
loosing weight will reduce your "disliked" body parts and unfortunately you'll get slim, but you can correct this by building some muscles. It's hard to overpower the rules of genetics, not impossible!
@Sheriichi if u want to loose fat, a healthy diet plus zuzana s workout are the best choice. everybody has different fat receptors in the body.the girls tend to have problems loosing fat around the thighs and butt while men often have men boobs and fat around their waist. these are mostly the parts where the body will hold on to fat the most, consistency is the key!! make u sure u eat complete protein with every meal and sugar only after workout-> the body is not insuline sensitive.

i have a question- i'm pretty slim, only my butt an thighs are a 'bigger' than i'd like them to be. so do you think it's enough if i do the workout and jog regularly or do i have to combine it with the diet? because i'm really not a diet person and i actually don't really want to lose weight (well, i don't need to), i only want to get rid of some of the thigh and butt volume

@Sheriichi In order to cut the fat from between the skin and muscle here is what you have to do. #1 Cut sugars and carbs from your diet as much as possible. #2 cut your sodium as it hold water on your body and women hold extra water and store more fat anyway so its not a bad idea at all. Diet soda, V8, and soups are LOADED with sodium unless you cut it back.
Some of the best ways to get in shape are to cut processed foods and NO HFCS at all.
Superset your legs/thighs and cut the crappy food.

loosing weight will reduce your "disliked" body parts and unfortunately you'll get slim, but you can correct this by building some muscles. It's hard to overpower the rules of genetics, not impossible!

@Sheriichi if u want to loose fat, a healthy diet plus zuzana s workout are the best choice. everybody has different fat receptors in the body.the girls tend to have problems loosing fat around the thighs and butt while men often have men boobs and fat around their waist. these are mostly the parts where the body will hold on to fat the most, consistency is the key!! make u sure u eat complete protein with every meal and sugar only after workout-> the body is not insuline sensitive.
