God of war III, MGS4 and uncharted 2 (just to name a few) all used double layered blu-ray discs which can hold up to 50gb of data. Why would they have used double layered discs when they could of used a single layered 25gb disc? because those games were over 25gb.

FFXIII had to be put on 3 Xbox discs, while it fitted on one double layered blu ray PS3 disc.

...It's more expensive to max out, it has longer setup times, games are not optimized well on it, hardware can easily be incompatible (GTAIV, for example, requires a quad core), it necessitates you purchase an OS (...well, not really requires you to BUY it...), and many games don't support gamepads.
