  • hmmm... this should tell you the quality of the metal hey use.. the jesus screw came right off, and the head flopped out. I have been doing 3D with my 450 pro.. and its NOT EXI.. not anmore, I bought one of these models.. The price was cheap.. but the parts and stuff on it was not even worth that amount of money.. BEARING...SHOT! and stupid metal over machined. I am so glad i got it sold to someone who really wanted to deal with all that. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this heli kit to anyone. its BAD!

  • you fly great man ! I really like you flying the 450 Razor thats FBL, what system is in that ?Thanks for the great videos !!!

  • the "crash" is at 4:04 , np pal ...

  • WHAT MOTOR???!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 4:10 by the way sorry

  • HEY What's that futaba device by the gyro, another gyro or what.... Pls respond curious to get it on mine too

  • lùl, i love this moment :D 4:04 OOUH

  • I want that watch!!!

  • DO NOT get the detrum combo kit with esc motor servos and gyro.

unless your are a beginner this kit just wont do at all and if you are a beginner the servo will not hold up to 2 crashes so DONT do it

if your esc has a program card availabe for it get it. for the new person it will save you time and agrevassion trying to setup the esc by stick and for the rest of us it just saves us time. now with these basic guide lines anyone should be able to setup a nice exi and fly all day

  • parts to complete are differnt for everyone. I only fly castle ice speed controllers but a volcano esc would do most people just fine. I personally would go with a 3800kv or higher motor (I love head speed) but beginners should stay to the 3500kv or a little less

you want t decent gyro the gy48v would do any beginner fine, mems gyro's are the way to go. for servo's get Metal gear for the cyclics and speed of .12 or better I like mine around .10-.08 tail .07 or better

  • the CF v3 version is onsale for 39.95 diffenence between it and the pro are the V3 had the older head block (41mm feathering shaft) where the pro has the new pro head block (51mm feathering shaft), the V3 has plastic fins and battery tray(bottom plate of frame) why they call it the battery tray I do not know, you can get the cf version from xheli for 6.50 the tail is the older design not the pro (still fly's the same).

thats really it flight wise most people wont tell any difference

  • i'll try to answer all your questions real quick. first the pro version has the new pro head and a few more carbon fiber parts on it. the pro version comes in belt or tube drive tail if your new to the game belt drive is the way to go. if you bumb a tube tail you will tear up gears and have to replace them. the pro and the cf v3 versions of the heli are both great. I have actually sold all my trex birds and now fly 4 exi's

  • I see some others have asked but i didn't see a response? I just ordered one of these kits last night and am very impressed with your set-up. What esc, motor, gyro, and servo's are you running. By the way, very nice flying!!

  • Very nice flying!

  • nice flight before the dirt nap

  • I think a nose dive crash is the best kind, the blades take most of the hit.

Is the Pro version better than the belt version? I have to assume it would be much easier to work on. I'm gonna build one of these soon If the creek don't rise. LOL!

  • Crash 4:03

  • the head block broke just like mine. those are really weak on this heli but it does fly amazing. thats why i still have one

  • yeah same here, nothing but good things about Xheli, they are slow to get to emails sometimes, and calling can be a pain when youre on hold for 2 hours, but for the most part their fast shipping and processing makes up for the customer service faults, when i have got in touch with CS there theyve been more than helpful

  • i've had nothing but good things to say about x-heli. Once of my videos is about using cheap electronics (had to try the dynam 450 combo) after the esc burst into flames on some 3d I call to them and they replaced every part that came from them with no arguing about it at all. I had all my parts within 3 days and i'm back in the air

  • What motor and servo were you using? I bet the stock Alpha 400 wouldnt be able to do that.

  • I do not have the same experience. I bought many times from XHELI and the quality and the service was, in all cases excellent. For the money they owe you, FlyGuyRc, you probably be credited on your credit card without knowing. I had a reimbursement like that because of a part always bo.

  • Just built a EXI 450 Pro and it is smoooooth. Super stable machine.

  • damn man. sikk. Iam going to get my first heli soon. what would you reccommend? I currently race E-Revo' and do stunt tracks.

  • @amoghthegamer You can't go wrong with the Blade MSR

  • That is what cheap helicopter happen at 3d

  • wow you really know how to handle this monster

  • lipo was flat

  • Also I would like to know what kind of motor & ESC ... Thank you

  • what motor/esc are you using?

  • wow, awesome flight !

  • how do you like that gyro? i just got one that I'm going to be throwing on an exi 500.

  • when bought from xheli.com, does it come with EVERYHTING needed to drive it? cause i only have enough money to buy the copter, and barely any left over. will it come with everything ready to fly. other than charging the battery? thanks you, plz reply asap. thanks again, Jed

  • @jedd122 No it will not. You will have to buy the motor ...etc

  • xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxxoooxxooxoxooooxxxoxoxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxxooxox

  • Nice flying Paul.

  • nice job paul .

  • I am going to get one of these over the summer, hopefully the maiden doesn't turn out that way

  • i like xheli ,they have good reviews ,and also inform if pitch is not enough for 3d flight

with the cheaper models ,,happy she flies again mr hamilton,,great slow flight you did the other day with the painted canopy

  • Can you repair it now?

  • flyguyrc lol

  • I dont like xheli, they are so nice that they dont even want to return any of my emails!!!

  • Usually all emails are taken care of within 24 hours, You can try calling us or visit our Support forum RCDISCUSS . com and Post in the CRM section. We have live techs working there

  • @FlyGuyRc

If they are the same as nitroplanes, then they wont help help anyway, those guys are like computers, even my laptop carries more common sense than them. They still owe me $9.95 since November but got tired of asking for it.

  • Andy on Rcdiscuss will be glad to help you with those issues, just post them on the CRM section

  • @FlyGuyRc Yeah I have problems with them too.

  • nice crash!!!!!!!

  • You were doing great right up to the crash. Flies well with the xheli gyro.

  • GREAT CRASH

  • EXI helicopters are great. Paul is a excellent pilot. This helicopter was shot down by banana hobby employees.

  • lol hahahahahaha

  • at 4:05 i know i saw(banana hobby ) Pet's head drop down behind that wall. prob had some sort of self invented trans jammer.

  • Crash is at 4:05 for impatient people.

  • Sweet have to get one I'm too scared to do hard core 3D on my Align TREX 450 PRO. Highly recomend EXI Great product!!! (Viewer: 339)

  • lol whats up with all the heli crashes lately :/

  • hahah

  • Wow, you really get what you pay for I guess. That was a full tilt inverted crash, and it pretty much took it. A cheap heli would have just disintegrated.

  • how much was it to repair?

  • 5* flight for sure! Was very fun to watch! The crash sucked though.

  • 40 viewer

  • nice stunts!
