Zoot was in a class of his own. A ton of magnificent sax players could swing with the best of them, but Zoot was Zoot and nobody swung better. They were all great, but I think Zoot may have been the 'coolest' of the cool.
Zoot Sims and The great Bucky !!! I couldn´t imagine a better combination full of great masters, poetry, sensibility and magic in those great periods when Jazz was Jazz!!!!, so bad that We can´t enjoy such masters right now!!, I wish that years could come to us nowadsys!
