I have an idea how to make the slur! I just got the idea myself while playing that piece =.=... Try use some left hand instead of right hand to make it sound slur if you get what I mean. Mozart always make some puzzles =.=
This is nice, but check bar 6,there's a quaver rest there. Btw there's the word sfz there too o.o.... maybe you just want to articulate it, I dono, *just want you to know in case you just memorize notes instead of dynamics
I'll post an updated version over the next couple of days; I've completely changed the way in which I attack this piece. Thanks for your excellent, constructive comments!
I think I'm probably about 20 years away from trying to play the Heroique. That's a severly advanced piece. I really like the Argerich version of this the best, maybe with Horowitz second.
I like Rafal Blechacz's technique and articulation, You know you should learn from those who learn from the best =.=" Not learn from the the best only. I am studying Blechacz, I just can't seem to find his flaw, o.o... 20 years? that's too long lol~ He only made it in 10 years + I suppose? Try studying all the pianist, and you'll learn more things than them~
OK - 20 years is maybe an exaggeration, I'd certainly like to be able to play it at some point in the future. How long have you been playing? Do you have any posts of your stuff?
This piece would sound too choppy without some pedalling. I just thought that based on the melodic shape of it, that pedalling made sense. It looses a lot of it's grace without the pedal I think.
Also, the phrases in bb 2, 18 etc...are hard to get nice and legato as per the phrase marks in the ABRSM version of the score. Because my technique sucks badly, I used a bit of pedal there to join stuff up!!! :0)
I think I over-pedal in parts of this - doesn't sound crisp enough; and I completely messed up the fingering around the little chromatic 3rd ascending bit... :0(
ahhhh. yours sounds better than mine

LH for the base notes? That's cheating, but I guess it would work... Surely you should be able to play legato 6th's with the RH only.

Of course lol~ That's not cheating~ =.=" that's just better~ I am good at cheating by using rubato to cover up my wrong notes =P
