I have a Shepherd and after watching a Tosa for a few months it was scary to see how big that dog was and also the elusiveness it possessed with it's size. A Tosa is very loyal and trainable. The Shepherd is known for having the tendency of developing hip dysplasia. If I could choose the Tosa would be my partner.

If you listen closely before the first attack you can hear one police officer advising the man in the suite how to go with the force of the dogs impact so that it doesn't hurt the dogs neck. They care about their dogs physical and mental state. Beating them would be a step backwards.

My family trains dogs and every time we get someone in class convinced they are gonna hurt their dogs we literally offer to show them what it feels like... by putting the collar on themselves and yanking it. My dad is a K9 handler for Quantico. And he can bring the dog, Maggie, home but we're not allowed to play with her or talk to her or give her any treats. Becuase of her job. But strangely you'll see these big guys training the dogs and then talk baby talk to them when the job is finished.

Malinois brauchen genau so was (also training und viiiieel beschäftigung), sonst ist es tierquälerei diese hunde in wohnungen zu halten und nichts mit ihnen zu machen,

an der leine zerren ist bullshit, ein hund folgt allein von seinem instiknt her visuellen und akustischen signalen. diese leinen-reißerei schaden wegen dem kleinen angriffspunkt höchstens den halswirbeln. dieses möchtegern coole, dämliche gelächter der american idiots schadet zudem der erziehung des hundes.

Natürlich braucht ein (jeder) Hund Beschäftigung, das ist gar kein Thema. Eine gute Schutzarbeit zeichnet sich jedoch auch (und das ist etwas wesentliches!) dadurch aus, dass der Hund dabei Sicherheit hat, was dieser definitiv nicht hat- der Grund ist der, dass er einfach alle "angeht" und das ist Bullshit, weil es WAHLLOS ist. Schutzdienst- super, aber bitte unter guten Händen!!

What the hell are you biting my head off for? I know it's not what I said it was, I've been on the recieving end of a pissed off dog's anger before.
I just happen to really appreciate police dogs, and wanted to show it by complimenting it like that. I am perfectly able to tell when a dog is in prey or defense, I just wish I knew back when I was attacked by one a few months ago.
And I don't blame the dog, I blame my own stupidity.

a k9 dog came to my school and this guy had to wear this suit and thats what happened . . .another thing the dog did was find the drugs in the bag . .cause he could smell them it was so freaking awesome!

My dad is a K9 handler for Quantico. And he can bring the dog, Maggie, home but we're not allowed to play with her or talk to her or give her any treats. Becuase of her job. But strangely you'll see these big guys training the dogs and then talk baby talk to them when the job is finished.

true the only ones aloowed that kind of interaction is the handler. the dog can only respond to him/her so thats why no one else can interact with them unless the handler is doing it. i work with K9s on camp lejeune.
