Tyler and Xenia are my favorites, and I can't decide which I like more. And now they've both sung this song, and you'd think that'd make it easier to choose, but it didn't, it made it more difficult.

The first episode i watched was the battle between him and Patrick. Couldn't believe he lost, and i still can't. One of THE BEST VOICES..He NEEDS another shot!! Get him to the recording studio!!!

also, i would like to add that i COULD'T believe that none of the other coaches turned their chairs around for him. i think it had a lot to do with his choice of song. hey soul sister just didn't showcase how amazing his voice is because i guarantee if he were to have sang THIS song every single one of them would've turned their chairs. that being said, i'm still very surprised by the fact that even with that song they couldn't tell how good he was because i could still hear his amazing tone.

while i think that tyler was the obviously better singer in the battle, i believe blake chose patrick because he was the country singer. watching, even though tyler killed it, i just knew that blake wasn't going to pick him. however, i don't think blake choosing patrick had anything to with tyler being gay. i think everybody has come up with this really complicated explanation for why blake chose patrick but i just honestly think blake liked patrick better...

I think Blake just went with a country singer because it's more in his element. I don't think his choice had anything to do with Tyler being gay...

@LoveandRockets49 I actually agree with that. I think that the reason Blake chose him to begin with was to compete with all the "soulful" people on Christina's team. Then, he realized he had no chance and wouldn't be able to do much for him in terms of guiding his music career.

The most talented of the two, I was shocked with his elimination, every judge loved him and I think Blake Shelton must be homophobic, it was so clear he'd choose the country singer.
