To clear a few thing up that have been swirling in the comments: (1) Flight is not from a larger body of work, i.e. a musical, song cycle, etc. (2) It was originally written for a male voice (his own - and no one sings it like he does) (3) the arrangement for two voices is an arrangement that Sutton Foster's musical director did for her and it is not published.

Some of these comments are quite amusing. I had the distinct honor of studying with Craig Carnelia for 2 years and he changed my life as a performer. The song featured here, "Flight", is most certainly one of his greatest compositions and I had his blessing to sing it in my first solo show in New York City.

I would say this is pretty much near perfection in the genre of musical theater. Composition, performance, everything. Only lacks movement, but the song is so strong I don't mind.
