I just got finished watching this episode. At first i felt bad for the daughter but near the end i ended up not liking them. I mean as far as the show goes they both had shopping addictions especially the mom. I mean if your CRAP is enough to fill a department store YOU HAVE A PROBLEM O.o I can't image having that much stuff.

i watched this and could not believe my eyes. this woman should not be a detective. if she keeps her home like this, i imagine her gun is never cleaned and that she's just as lazy with her cases.

Those two "ladies" were a couple of the nastiest, most hateful people I've ever seen on the Clean House show.

I think the "hoarding" label and the whole "it's an illness" bit is being overused as an excuse for lazy people to just be dirty. If this woman could keep a job as a police detective, she would have to be smart enough to get her plumbing fixed.  Give me a freakin' break!!

They were just nasty dirty cows.

i watch it yesterday and there were lot of mice in the basement. Did they get rid of them? Gross!!!!

We didn't get rid of all the mice. There were a bunch still living in the bar area. They need to get an exterminator... or move.

Lots of mice were transplanted from the their home to the yard sale location because they were stowaways in boxes and bins that were used to move all of the belongings. They were everywhere.

i saw this episode last night and i really like the daughters room i think her name started with a B can some one give me a breaf discripion of her room or a video of a room simaler to it please :)

If you keep an eye on the Style network they are showing a lot of re-runs of the messiest home episode, you could see it again there.

oh God i watched it last night i almost screamed when i saw te mice... but i was really amazed when i saw the basement oh God it was a wall to wall the clutter was the walls!!!!!

The mice were horrible! And we just saw a few, but you know they always have friends! I wish Sharon had stuck around to see the finished basement. I couldn't believe she accused the people trying to help her of stealing her grandmother's old purse!

I know but that is her fault too for keeping all that stuff!!! She better be happy that they even did that basement that made Niecy cry!!! I saw that im like there is no waay that thats going to happen

The problem with the "messiest house" series is by the time you get to the messiest, it's someone who has real psychological problems with hoarding, and I don't know if anything short of professional help will help. She talked about not having toys growing up, several broken engagements. Her problems were a lot worse than not being able to get rid of stuff. As for being mean to Niecy, I was mad at both women! They were rude and ungrateful!

As a mom myself, I think if her daughter had seen her mom act gracious, she would've, but again, I think this lady's problems were deeper than we saw.

lovesrainydays, I agree. There was something sick about that situation. And it's annoying when people who behave so ungraciously are rewarded with a beautiful makeover. Not an episode I'll watch again.

After we were done shooting and we were taking down all the lights Sharon came home. She went to the basement with a couple of friends and a producer and she freaked out! She LOVED what had been done! It was one of those "I wish we had that on film" moments.
