  • where can i order 1?

  • SO COOL! HOw do I make one?

  • sound like some kind of weird ambiemt music to me :D but i like it :)

and especially the table itself is an interesting way of making music...

  • I appreciate your attempt to do something non-pattern oriented with this interface!

  • CFW????

  • it sounds like a bee having sex with a horse then made a fucking baby and that baby fucked a eliphant and had another fucken baby?! WTF?! MATE?

  • um.....WHY...???? lol

  • i laughed at the beginning it just sounded funny lol. gj

  • you guys shod try to play the gadget song on it <3

  • what the fuck?

  • why does this remind me of the yellow submarine

  • id love to see the things jordan ruddess will make with one of those

  • This sounds a lot like new york. Very busy.

  • @xboxtrogdor your cool

  • Maybe I'm just that high, but this is awesome right about now.

  • this is a pretty cool tool and there IS decent music made. so, good job developers!

for those interested, just dj maneken here in youtube :)

  • how much does a reactable cost?

  • @DrDimk0o 9.700€...12.000 $

  • if only me and some mates could get our hands on one of these.... we'd be kids again for years to come!!!

  • if only me and some mates could get our hands on one of these..... we'd be kids again for years to come!!

  • its just beautifull the way it is

  • U can do this with almost any free softsynth on the market...

    but what a cool freak&tweakmachine :)

  • u know expensive that is its about 13grand

  • It would be nice if someone would use one of these to actually make some decent music instead of just a bunch of random crappy noise.

  • @sanpaco13 While I do appreciate your insight, I will say that this is a very interesting instrument to use because there really are only three practical uses for it (as far as I am concerned). The first is creating very predictable sequenced music, because of the loop and sequencing objects this is very easy to do. The second is using samples of your own (which have to fit into a very specific parameter in order to play correctly, within a millisecond).

  • @sanpaco13 The third as a tool for improvisation (which is the course of action that I took). Since I do not regularly work in the field of electronic music I found this to be the most advantageous way for me to get the most out of the table while I had it in possession for experimentation and rehearsals. Thank you for your comment.

  • Ironically, I don't even like Bjork's music normally. But in any case I'd like to get my hands on one of these to play with. Thanks for the video even if I didn't necessarily love the music you made :)

  • @sgcustomfan you forgot the fourth use.

    A Table.

  • @sgcustomfan so like how do you put your own sounds into the cubes or watever they are called? and how would u get it exact to the millisecond?

  • @sanpaco13

You are so narrow mind...and old fashion! I feel sorry for you that just can see what is obvious!

  • @sanpaco13 NO shit eh

  • @sanpaco13 Dude , you cant even mane that "crappy sound" .

When you atleast make a simple beat , then start talking . Aprende ?

  • @sanpaco13 im glad your so logical, sound isnt anything to be studied or analyzed people should just make music your right

  • @sanpaco13 Then just check this out : The Maneken - I'm Table Live

  • @sanpaco13 isn't music just organized noise in the first place?

  • I bet that if you listened to Miles Davis and Frank Zappa you would think the same thing, seeing how you pay a lot of attention to what you are listening to.

  • @sanpaco13 I totally agree. Did find one vid tho. Even if you don't like trance you gotta love this.

  • @sanpaco13 what about "the maneken"? He is making some really cool tracks with Reactable. You can find some here in youtube.

  • @sanpaco13 isnt it great that someone used this to make random noise instead of crappy music

  • @sanpaco13 Watch bjork using this and you will not hear crappy noise.

  • muy malos . es como darle una maquina de escribir a un elefante. lamentable.

  • jaja no, nooo!!!...no son malos

    son mui vanguardistas

  • Reminds me of TONTO"S EXPANDING HEAD BAND - an early experimental AI/synth recording

  • i remember seeing a vid some time ago that used the same principle, good to see it's still alive :)

  • quiero uno de esos, dond lo consigo.......

  • Very cool table...maybe some day I can pop the 50k to afford one. Possibly better as a live performance instrument than as a recording instrument.

  • i wonder how much drugs i requaied for one hour of that teable usage....

  • reminds me of an experimental jazz album called Beyond Quantum.

    Beautiful.

  • @hybernatinghuman It reminded me of Miles Davi's "Bitches Brew" if anything.

  • I thought these were not for sell just yet.How did you get yours? How often do you do shows with it? Can you post more vids of the table? thanks.

  • One question. If you need to buy all the gear like the camera and projecter, where do you get the block things to go on it??? That is one sweeeet synth you got :-D

  • 1-it all comes together its a single machine (cubes are the only accessories that you need to make the reactable work)

2- you need 50k to get it.

  • what does it take to blow up your reactable??

    nice!!

  • at 5:44 in the video, there is a second where the table just goes silent for a split-second and I was really worried that it was going to crash then. I found the way to get it to crash is to use the filter on the global delay, for some reason the table doesn't like that.
