There are a lot of religions in the world of ASOIAF, you can't expect that they'd show everything on the first season, I hope they will explain more according to the timeline... There is not just the R'hllor faith the one that remains, there are also The Drowned God of Iron Islands, the Moonsingers of Braavos, the remnants of the religion of the Rhoynar in Dorne (with Mother Rhoynar or Mother River as they call it)... etc. I find all of them amazing. Takes a lot of imagination to create this.
@najyar perhaps that will be in the bonus features of season two. i don't think a season one bonus should contain future season bonuses. that would be like season one of lost explaining that they are all dead.
Oner of 24 features on the blue-ray verison of Season1., according to Winter is coming, but while the Seven and the Weirwood have appeared in 1.season, the other religions gave not appeared yet, so those are for season 2 .
The narration was good, I wish they had gone on about R'hllor and Drowned God too... but I agree with RedFaris-- it would've been a minor spoiler for the next season
They should also cover R'hllor's stuff but I guess it could be seen as a spoiler since book/season 2 is where this religion's involvement in the plot starts.
@RedFaris i was thinking about this r'hllor and his "priests" powers. i will skirt around any spoiler type things. in book one, which i haven't read in a year, i believe ned and robert talked a tiny bit about john snow's mother. didn't they say she had red hair? based on the end of dance with dragons and dondarian's red priest wouldn't it be interesting if miilsande was john snow's mother. it could be.i love the character so i was also hoping somehow his mother had targarian(sp) blood.
Those that read the books, will already know all of this. But I think it's great how they've gone to explain it all for those that have only watched the TV show and want to know more.
@SickOmega Well said, often I worry those who don't read the books -- they will miss out on stuff like this but if they want to rectify it with the "extras" like this I'll sleep easier :P

I would have wanted the Drowned God included. The Iron Islands are after all part of the westeros. It's also the one I like best.

The depth and extensive thought of George R.R. Martin's creation just astounds me. The man is possibly the greatest author of his time.

That really doesn't sound like Bran to me, more like Arya.
