  • one person is jofrrey baratheon

  • so for some reason you can't get any of this content on the DVDs?

  • pft there is only one, many faced God..and his name is Death.

  • There are a lot of religions in the world of ASOIAF, you can't expect that they'd show everything on the first season, I hope they will explain more according to the timeline... There is not just the R'hllor faith the one that remains, there are also The Drowned God of Iron Islands, the Moonsingers of Braavos, the remnants of the religion of the Rhoynar in Dorne (with Mother Rhoynar or Mother River as they call it)... etc. I find all of them amazing. Takes a lot of imagination to create this.

  • 1 person is a Christian and fuckin hates fiction like this.

  • @Kidzilla99 you mean he is an atheist that wants butt secks with Dawkins?

  • @dragoryn If you have ounce of defense for your Christianity in and like this kind of fiction... well... may your God save you.

  • YOU'VE RUINED YOUR SWORD

  • ''The night is dark and full of turnips''

  • I would have wanted the Drowned God included. The Iron Islands are after all part of the westeros. It's also the one I like best.

  • @najyar perhaps that will be in the bonus features of season two. i don't think a season one bonus should contain future season bonuses. that would be like season one of lost explaining that they are all dead.

  • @najyar They'll probably show 'em on the Season 2 Bonus Features along with R'hllor.

  • My favourites are the crone and the stranger :D unusual for an 18 yearold girl but those two are awesome!!!

  • also... is it any coincidence that bran does the old gods part? lol

  • the faith of the 7 is for n00bs! the old gods forever!

  • Isaac reads it so very well.

  • Does anyone know when the dvd blueray is out ??

  • The illustrations in this are lovely.

  • Hodor?

  • The depth and extensive thought of George R.R. Martin's creation just astounds me. The man is possibly the greatest author of his time.

  • R'hllor save us from these false gods.

  • That really doesn't sound like Bran to me, more like Arya.

  • Michelle Fairley has a lovely voice, and so does Isaac Hempstead-Wright. Love HBO ;-)

  • Awesome.

  • Winter is coming

  • This is GREAT

  • can't wait for series two, hopefully they'll do a simillar thing for the Drowned God and R'hllor

  • Whose the Illustrator who made all these drawings? Crazy good.

  • No drowned god?

  • The night is dark and full of terrors.

  • The Gods of the North!

  • That picture of the 7 faced god looks really good

  • Michelle Fairley's voice is beautiful. Love that woman.

  • The voiceovers are Catelyn and Bran, am I right? They sure sound like them.

  • @zeddfak Yes, Catelyn and Bran aka Michelle Fairley and Isaac Hempstead-Wright.

  • Oner of 24 features on the blue-ray verison of Season1., according to Winter is coming, but while the Seven and the Weirwood have appeared in 1.season, the other religions gave not appeared yet, so those are for season 2 .

  • This animation needs motion blur for each layer :p See my Boy & Dragon Animatic

  • The narration was good, I wish they had gone on about R'hllor and Drowned God too... but I agree with RedFaris-- it would've been a minor spoiler for the next season

  • Needs more R'hllor.

  • Thank you for this!!

  • Our way is the old way!

  • Is Bran narrating the Old Gods section? Har!

  • R'hllor FTW

  • Beautiful!

  • this is exactly what happened throughout history

  • Michelle Fairly and, maybe Isaac speaking? Anyway, love it!

  • They should also cover R'hllor's stuff but I guess it could be seen as a spoiler since book/season 2 is where this religion's involvement in the plot starts.

  • @RedFaris i was thinking about this r'hllor and his "priests" powers. i will skirt around any spoiler type things. in book one, which i haven't read in a year, i believe ned and robert talked a tiny bit about john snow's mother. didn't they say she had red hair? based on the end of dance with dragons and dondarian's red priest wouldn't it be interesting if miilsande was john snow's mother. it could be.i love the character so i was also hoping somehow his mother had targarian(sp) blood.

  • Those that read the books, will already know all of this. But I think it's great how they've gone to explain it all for those that have only watched the TV show and want to know more.

  • @SickOmega Well said, often I worry those who don't read the books -- they will miss out on stuff like this but if they want to rectify it with the "extras" like this I'll sleep easier :P

  • Such a awesome backstory and depth.

  • i hope all the extras are like this. this is amazing
