aww, I loved this! I'd never seen it before. this was one of my favorite shows, I too was heartbroken when it ended (but better to quit while you're ahead, right?) ????? Tommy doesn't die, but the episode that Hunter holds a knife to Jude is at the end of season 3, the second part to her 18th birthday! i believe it is the last episode to season 3, i hope that helps you, :)

that wasn't supposed to be the ending. They were planning to do another season, but the N canceled it. So if that makes you feel any better that wasn't suppose to be the end.

why would N cancel instant star wasnt it a huge hit and i loved the ending tommy took her for granted and she needed to grow without him to find herself

Because the N wants to go a different way. They want more reality shows. The Instant Star's writers didn't know when they made the season finale that it would be the end, or they wouldnt have ended it like that. That ending was purely made to last another season.

I was sooo upset with the finale and her comment in the end. I understand why she had to do it but when she said, "In the end I'm a rockstart". I was soooo mad, and the way she told Tommy that she was ending their engagement! Very disappointed on how that played out.
