I LOVE how you give us the timing of everything. Like you tell us when to put the pasta on and when to start sides and stuff. This is awesome because that way things are done at the same time and we don't fumble around trying to figure it out. Thanks!
Hey Lora, today I made this for our family dinner and everybody LOVED it! Often it´s difficult that a meal is after everyones fancy but this is so popular with my whole family!! Even it seems that my 7 weeks old baby boy loves this chicken because he nursed SO well after I had this dinner:-)Thanks so much for this great recipe!Love,Anna
lol well thanks for the offer but im sure i can find some. I know fresh parmesan in blocks is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive and typically i find you pay more for shredded cheese purely because of the convenience factor. Maybe shredded parmesan will be different. To be honest ive never looked for it. Like i say ive always bought the "fake stuff in a can" LOL :)
im in Canada Lora......and ya know they probably DO have it here. Ive just never thought to look for pre-shredded parmesan......probably because i figured it would cost an arm and a leg and various internal organs to buy it LOL :)
I just made this for dinner, but I used mozzarella cheese because that was what we had and I didn't feel like running to the store, but to give it that Italian/parmesan taste, I added that cheap grated parmesan cheese to the bread crumbs. Tasted delicious and the whole family loved it :)
@aprild99 There are a few ways! Either with a pot of boiling water, a steamer, or even in the microwave! We usually just boil them in hot water or chicken broth (makes them taste much better! kids love it!) on the stove until they're soft :o)
ahhh ok.....i cant say that ive seen the parmesan cheese pre shredded in the bag much around here. Every other kinda cheese but not parmesan......ill have to look closer next time im shopping! :)
@MrIHateWinter Hmm... i'm sure it will work just fine, but real cheese will definitely be MUCH better. You really want fresh cheese for that gooey affect, once it starts melting. You don't have to get the expensive blocks of cheese and then grate it. But they have those cheap bags of shredded cheese and the store brands really aren't that expensive!
I am always looking for new things to cook, seems like we have the same things over and over. So I will be trying it tonight hope it turns out great. Thanks for sharing!
No, I have never seen anything referring to cup measurements, but thanks for the tips. Didn't have a clue how much the recipe was referring to. (Sorry I don't know how to aim my messages directly at people on this site.)
How do you get the sound so quiet so all you hear is you (plus some music at some parts in the background)? It's really cool and makes it sound really professional! Thanks for making this video! It all looks delicious! :)
@BabyVlogger123 Aww thanks! I just did a voice over because when i'm really talking, while I'm cooking, it's so loud! Kids in the background, dishes banging around, the TV, husband on the fone, etc lol! So I just do a voiceover and add some quiet music that's quieter than my voice, so the video isn't too boring :P
@Loraandlayton That's so cool! And a great idea! I would love to learn how to do that, but I have absolutely NO idea how! Thanks for getting back to me! You're always so good at that! It always makes it so much more fun to watch someone on here if you can ask them questions and actually talk to them and they get back to you! Thanks again! :)
Hi Lora, The meals you have shown us look delicious! Just wondering, what measurement is a "cup" of something? In England we deal with grams or ounces. Are you able to convert them for me please? Thank you.
@Sam271087 You don't use cups in England? I just spent some time there and definitely saw recipes referring to cups. You should go for the Jamie Oliver method and just use a wine glass as a cup measurement, its about the same.
to help make the cheese and breadcrumbs stick to the chicken a bit more, you can dunk them in a bowl with eggs stirred - it kinda acts like glue :) I'm definitely going to try this :)
Next Sunday dinner at our place I'll be attempting to make this for the family and my boyfriend. I'll let you know it goes. Hopefully they will enjoy it!
Hi you all! Great idea! For the cheese and bread crumps to stick more to the chicken, you can beat 2 eggs and pass your chicken breast in this mixture first.
If your kids don't like veggies (or your husband^^), just put them in the pasta and sauce, it will cover them, but still get your loved ones the vitamins they need!
@mmandine13 Thanks! I usually do put the chicken in milk before i make stuff like this, but this dish really does well without it, so I don't worry too much about it :P Thankfully, we all love veggies though :o)

@frowniebrown86 I will DEF cook it for you ;o) It's Layt's like new favorite dish lol! HAHAH I doubt Martha Stewart uses things like cream of chicken soup, or pre-made bread crumbs lol :P
@TheChocolatecake101 Oh, it'd be super delicious! I make another dish that's a lot like this one, but you use a skillet and mozzarella cheese and it's SO good! I'm sure it would be awesome.
