I saw this when I was about 3-4. I can still remember it vaguely , going to our seats and watching , to what I recall - red , so this must be it , or the Witch's castle.
I remember this show! yes the witch had the platform up on the skytrack that was made of bones...it ran on the same track as the wizards balloon. This scene was so beautifully done when i saw it,those poppy costumes looked amazing from the 3rd row! I remember this part being longer but its great to see it up on youtube. And yes, the original Dorothy that played the role was a brunette, i think they just changed a few things for the tv special.
well maybe it wasn't THIS one because the Dorothy I remember had long brown hair. The poppy dance looked a little different but I do remember going to see The Wizard of Oz on ice
