I know people have tried to read a lot into Romney and McCain's expressions here, but it really is just they they both think he is a mad old guy that should be sent to the retirement home.
Funny how McCain and Romeny look like typical schills the entire time. It almost looks as if Huckabee is paying attention and possibly taking in some of what Ron was saying.
I watched the entire debate (which is hard to do considering 3 out of 4 candidates are completely insane) and first I wondered how Dr. Paul was allowed to sit at the table. They must have assumed they could somehow make him look bad. Then I searched around and started wondering where all the videos of Romney at the debates? Or McCain who won the nomination? Where are the true believers of what those men have to say? Maybe endless wars and the destruction of civil liberties aren't so popular.
6:46 is all you have to know about this. When Paul talks about how the inflationary system is the root of funding useless wars and Romney and McCain look away from Paul, you know he hit the nail on the head and those two can't come to grips to actually say that on national TV. Awesome moment.

It's so incredibly refreshing to hear the difference in the way Ron Paul speaks compared to the others. I've always been interested in politics, and I've been following Ron Paul since 07, but it's inspiring to hear again how he analytically answers every questions, and not give floating, lyrical and over-the-top cliche answers without content like ALL the other candidates did. He is without any doubt the smartest politician in Congress right now, or that probably has ever been in Congress.

Ron Paul speaks the simple truth - 3:30 to 5:20 in particular is the crux of it. How a sane person could view this and not immediately dismiss the other three phonies out of hand is beyond my comprehension. The war on drugs....Oh, don't even get me started. When I worked at the prison, hardly any of the inmates were in favor of decriminalizing drugs--they made too much money selling the stuff. They didn't even mind risking prison time. Everyone who wants to use drugs is already doing it.
If the war on drugs(marijuana) ends, these guys in prison for selling drugs wouldn't be making any money because the government would be making it through taxation. The people in jail now wouldn't even be in there in the first place because the struggle of illegally selling drugs wouldn't be an issue anymore.

It's not just Reganonomics that he cares to tread. It's the whole economic system that we have had these last two centuries in America, which is far from the origional system our founders gave us.
Reganonomics is probably a mainstream monetary system that Paul agrees with compared to other American monetary sysetems such as Keynesianism. Reganonomics(like many other mainstrean systems) calls for an increase in the Federal Reserve's circulating power, which has been show to cause inflation.
Reaganomics was the reactionary response to a late-1970's economic stagnation. With increased gov't oversight and regulatory practices in the financial sector, corporations began to see their profit margins fall--so they outsourced. What Reagan did was an attempt to reign back in outsourced American jobs by giving tax cuts to the rich in hope that money would "trickle down" to the middle-class. However, the rich just got richer. Contextually, Reaganomics made some sense, just not for the middles

I watched the entire debate (which is hard to do considering 3 out of 4 candidates are completely insane) and first I wondered how Dr. Paul was allowed to sit at the table. They must have assumed they could somehow make him look bad. Then I searched around and started wondering where all the videos of Romney at the debates? Or McCain who won the nomination? Where are the true believers of what those men have to say? Maybe endless wars and the destruction of civil liberties aren't so popular.

It's so incredibly refreshing to hear the difference in the way Ron Paul speaks compared to the others. I've always been interested in politics, and I've been following Ron Paul since 07, but it's inspiring to hear again how he analytically answers every questions, and not give floating, lyrical and over-the-top cliche answers without content like ALL the other candidates did. He is without any doubt the smartest politician in Congress right now, or that probably has ever been in Congress.

I wonder if it's not too late. I set out on a mission to dispel the conspiracy theorists about a lot of hearsay only to find that much of it may be true, i.e., global depopulization, purposeful collapse of the economy, etc.
Now, many people sit around proclaiming all of this stuff nonsense while coining people fanatics, etc, as did I, but these are the same people who won't do one iota of research. They base all their conclusions on "Well, I just don't believe it!"

It's not just Reganonomics that he cares to tread. It's the whole economic system that we have had these last two centuries in America, which is far from the origional system our founders gave us.
Reganonomics is probably a mainstream monetary system that Paul agrees with compared to other American monetary sysetems such as Keynesianism. Reganonomics(like many other mainstrean systems) calls for an increase in the Federal Reserve's circulating power, which has been show to cause inflation.

Actually LyndeHouse, Bahia82 is entirely right with the exception that Reagan only doubled the national debt, but the point remains that Reaganomics didn't/doesn't/will never work, because the administration that adovcated for it didn't even adhere to their policy.

Ron Paul now looks like a genius. We need other politicians who think like this. It has to be broader and gain more traction to get candidates like Ron in power.

Mid december of 2007 the Corporate media did everything they could to burry him. go look at google trends. you will see that the media started pumping out the 4 bilderberg attendie canidates on both side 2x2 . bilderberg promoted 2 dems and 2 repubs and the rest got rejected by the mediia machine.
