I was thinking the same thing a week ago. However he comes at Jennings so I don't believe he's a fan or carbon copy. I think the Trash Talk Sunday is just a play on words. I believe Sunday is the day the brothers at TWOG compete in sporting events. It's not that serious. We can FIND plenty things we do that ARE NOT in the bible. I play spades every now & then. I know preachers who say thats a sin while others say its not. Mathis if you want to throw stones there other things you can get him on.

If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. The Scripture says, in 1 Cor. 2:16, we have the mind of Christ. When playing spades, what mind do you have to do such??????????? @injesuschrist I'm glad you mentioned that verse & your understanding of it. One of my closest brothers in faith was just discussing the same to me this week. He referring on how easily Christians make scripture say what they want it to say. Because you may not do a thing doesn't make it a sin. The bible IS CLEAR on what sin is. It amazes me how people heap on other things not in the book. While yet many us cannot fulfill what is already been written.

When I'm at work putting in boilers, remolding kitchens, bathrooms etc. That's not putting on the mind of Christ. This is where balance is important & relative in the faith. I guess you can say the same about pick up basketball games, flag football etc. My brother really think about the understanding of the text you gave. No bible for internet either. I mean be serious not hyperspiritual. When I play spades I'm thinking about how many books I can make not beer, theft, lying, sex or whatever.

Its call the mind of survival, we are created with. its in every creature, be sure the job is just. A Saint cannot work any job, in the name of work. God commanded us to work.
