I guess those kids believe that PC Gamers play on a regular PC or laptop but is there any reason for buying a console at all? I mean, you can even pirate all the games on the current consoles, you can always have the better sound and grafics, you can decide what kind of controller to use or maybe a keyboard and it already has a libary of great games on its own.
Personally I prefer console gaming over PC gaming simply because I grew up with a controller in my hand more than a keyboard, but I still enjoy PC gaming too. It's stupid when people like StormSUNK try to lower the credibility of either style, when both have their pros and cons.

I have a question, my birthday is coming up and I want to get into pc gaming. My computer can barely handle graphics on this thing and I was thinking of getting upgrades for my PC. How much RAM should I get and what graphics card works the best? The games I thought about getting were Crysis and possibly TOR.
When you were listing what consoles cannot do, you didn't list sub-90 FOV. Field Of View is important for resolution to give the proper ratio of player to environment. 90-100 is proper for higher resolutions. Many console games are 60 or lower because it means less to render on the screen. Just another thing you should add to the list BBC.

2. If there is a game on the PC like LBP2, but with more customization and freedom, i have not found it. The one game i found on PC that almost reaches LBP2's level interms of freedom and ease of use, is Atmosphir. And even then, it still lacks things like LBP2's programable sackbots.

They may have heard of things like "Radeon" or "GeForce" or "Steam" or "SSD" but at the day, most of em don't know anything about PC gaming. On the other hand, there's not much for a true PC gamer to understand about console systems of today. Basically, PS3 and 360 ARE computers (as all consoles have always been). Only PC gamers from the 80's-90's will know this.
@RalphCQ Yeah, I get it. If I was born in the 80s, then getting into PCs in the 90s I would probably also keep up with the revolution considering better interface and stats on PC hardware equipment. I use the PC more than any of my consoles, but i use y consoles more for games. Still, if I find an addicting game, like Plants vs. Zoombies, on the PC I will be stuck playing that.

There are some pc gamers that are assholes, but that's like every 1 in 20 or more people. I play on consoles, but that's a personal preference. If i had the money to get a decent pc, then i would get one and play a few games on it. pc games look better than console and no one who had at least a 2.0 gpa could argue against that if they are at least somewhat knowledgeable about pc and console gaming

2. If there is a game on the PC like LBP2, but with more customization and freedom, i have not found it. The one game i found on PC that almost reaches LBP2's level interms of freedom and ease of use, is Atmosphir. And even then, it still lacks things like LBP2's programable sackbots.

How im a ps3 gamer and this guy is an idiot. Pc is most definatly better, but honestly I dont see myself really getting a gaming rig. Graphics dont matter to since graphics on the consoles still imo look incredible. I can get a mouse and keyboard for my ps3 if I want to use it. The only thing I would like consoles to have is mods on the same level as pc. It can happen Sony just would need to set up programs and make it run properly on the system. Gaming in general ftw.

Bethsoft was gonna release the creation kit for Skyrim on consoles too, but they canceled it. Just not enough console modders out there.

They may have heard of things like "Radeon" or "GeForce" or "Steam" or "SSD" but at the day, most of em don't know anything about PC gaming. On the other hand, there's not much for a true PC gamer to understand about console systems of today. Basically, PS3 and 360 ARE computers (as all consoles have always been). Only PC gamers from the 80's-90's will know this.

@RalphCQ Yeah, I get it. If I was born in the 80s, then getting into PCs in the 90s I would probably also keep up with the revolution considering better interface and stats on PC hardware equipment. I use the PC more than any of my consoles, but i use y consoles more for games. Still, if I find an addicting game, like Plants vs. Zoombies, on the PC I will be stuck playing that.
BTW, I know what you're referring to in every example except the SSD one.
I use Nividia for my own graphics.

Most people don't have the 9001$ to spend every month to update graphics cards and buy new computer parts, routers, monitors, and such. Hell, I'd kill to get a fancy computer, but the economy sucks ass, so that's the way it is, I guess. So even though consoles are somewhat inferior, PCs are much more expensive. So, in a way, it evens out.
