I own the curve and I love it, I have tmobile so the only thing its missing 3G but its actually not bad without it. 3mp camera that takes EXCELLENT PHOTOS(printing quality)the auto-focus captures wonderful photos, the video playback and video capture is AWESOME , the best I have had on any cellphone, sound quality is GREAT, actually too loud lol, I wouldn't get the bold if it was free

Bold No Doubt!!! Feels better in larger hands. Has a Faster Processor and 3g. Yes the 8900 camera is better at 3.2mp and more ram. Try sending a 3.2mp size pic in an email over edge it will take forever. I just feel the bold still offers way more.
