  • Damn, Mercutio with a cloth over his head is too funny.

  • thank you so much! save me and my essay :-)

  • blah blah blah blah

  • Mercutio is the best character. Simply the best! >u<

  • The beginning of this video is all that I heard when we went over this in English.

  • wait a minute... didnt tybalt have a yellow hat in the first act?

  • Wicked striped tights, Tybalt...always did believe that clowns were secret murderers.

  • What's with blah blah blah it scary

  • Go hang thyself..? In modern terms, Go f**k yourself.

  • Is anyone else looking at this for school reasons? :) hahah

  • Benvolio looks like Frodo. lol.

  • Mercrutio whisteles:) lolz i luv mercrutio

  • im so tired of this faggots saying that rome is zack efron, a plague on your houses!

  • 3:55 tybalt: da fuck??

  • what the hell is wrong with the -

BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH - tights?

    BLAH BLAH BLAH

  • romeo looks like zac efron………..

was watching this during class for ENGLISH. and i was like wat the....

  • Tybalt is so hot in this version ! I love his & Mercutio's voices (:

  • were watching this movie and reading the play in my english class and we all just love it. when we see romeo we scream zac efron and mercutio is the best. love the blah part. cracked us up. Tybalt is called Tibbie in my class tho, we were all sad when Tibbie died. and murcutio too.

  • @JaytodaBurd Haha same. My class we call him Tibbie, too.

  • this is the part we left off in my english class we heard blah blah blah blah and we were all like WTF

  • Romeo looks so retarded in those tights

  • I'm not sure if it's just me or what, but it looked like Tybalt and Mercutio were just fooling around and had no intention of hurting/killing each other. Tybalt even looks guilty after he stabs him and has to be pulled away by other Capulets and Capulet followers and even then it doesn't look like he wants to leave. Almost like he was worried about whether Mercutio would be okay or not. Maybe it's just me though.

  • @sweetLatias They were just playing for fun but then Romeo got in the way so Tybalt accidently stabbed Mercutio. He looked shocked cause it wasn't his intention to kill Mercutio. Hope that cleared things up... :)

  • blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

  • In the version, they look like they're having so much fun ^^

5:30 When they said "Leave us" at the same time and then afterwards they smile at each other they look like they're getting along pretty well!

  • I love Mercutio!

  • "Here's my fiddlestick, here's that shall make you dance" LOL that line always makes me laugh :D

  • "a film on the youth" Zeffirelli said ... and Mercuzio interprets most clever youngs

  • Romeo looks just like sac efron C-ute

  • @sacramentolove actually it is based on a true story the entire thing took 9 months but shakespear shrunk it down to 5 days so Mercutio was a real person

  • I enjoy the fact that the fight was just messing around and that Mercutio's death is an accident. Mercutio is a member of the royal family and so if Tybalt had killed him (Without being killed soon after himself) with meaning, the price would have been high for both him and his family. You see Tybalt's reaction to touching Romeo, a Montague, he is rather disgusted by Romeo's love. (Though, he was be overacting for a laugh) and willingly shakes Mercutio's, seeing him as equal.

    Just my input.

  • Lop wtf at the beginning

  • Look really closely; they don't actually hate eachother. They're just horsing around; Romeo is the only one taking it seriously. Really, they're SMILING in the beginning. But then, when Mercutio starts to win (with the pitchfork), Tybalt starts to lose his temper with him. Still, he's just messing around. He didn't mean to stab him; Romeo just messed him up.

  • 4:35

I thought he was flipping him off. In the middle of class I was like, "OMG THAT'S WHERE IT CAME FROM!"

  • i had to do the blah blah blah blah part for a play in english i hated it! but i love the video for it(:

  • if Romeo hadn't pulled Mercutio down, he wouldn't have fell on Tybalt's sword.

  • Tybalt: *sneers* after you good Mercutio!

Mercutio: no, after you gentle Tybalt!

*smiles all around, and they fight again*

    gotta love Shakespeare xD

  • OMG im sick and tired of seeing comments about how romeo looks like zefron or zefron looks like romeo it doesnt matter its stupid that 5000 people needs to point that out

  • Tybalt was played by Michael York.

  • can i just say, zac erfron looks like romeo, not romeo looks like zac.

  • ROMEO THOU UTTER TWAT!

  • Mmmmmm.... Michael York.

  • OMG ROMEO DOESNT LOOK LIKE ZAC EFRON HE LOOKS LIKE ROMEO U NOBS

  • heres my fiddle stick! lol always made me laugh xD

  • ive always thought that this romeo looks just like zefron! xD

  • where's part 2?

  • at the start i thourght this was a troll...

  • @jb10626 haha me too XD

  • romeo looks just like zac efron

  • 5:32 T and M: Mind your business! Romeo: Okay, okay, sorry! T and M: Let's continue shall we?

  • Blah blah blah blah blah... xD Even reading the play, I always loved Mercutio.

  • 0:11 It's Mr. Napkin head!!!

  • Thaaaa fuck is thisss ?!??!?!?!

  • They should have put the part where mecrutio calmly whistles when he is staring down tybalts sword in the newer one

  • tybalt is the actor from austin powers

  • thanks, this helped a lot with my GCSE.

  • I swear mercutio is my 13x grandfather!

  • @HalfBloodHowler13 You're lying, the tragedy of Romeo & Juliet is not real, it's just a play written by William Shakespeare. The play is not based on a true story, it was just a play. Therefor, Mercutio is not a real character.

  • @sacramentolove Just joking! Lighten up a little, eh? xD

  • @HalfBloodHowler13 Sorry sir. :)

  • @sacramentolove No worries, :D

  • the look of terror on Tybalt's face says aww shit shit SHIT!!!!

  • 'O Calm Dishonourable Vile Submission!' Best line ever written. :)

  • Part 2??

  • Romeo = Zac Efron

    Mercutio = Neil Patrick Harris

    Benvolio = Andy Samberg

    Tybalt = ??

    BLAH BLAH BLAH.... BLAAAHH... classic

  • @MiiAndMaGirls Tybalt = Harrison Ford

  • @MiiAndMaGirls Tybalt = Jason Statham

    Mercutio = David Anders

  • @MiiAndMaGirls Michael Yorke

  • Very funny...

  • hahahah Mercutio fucking classic

  • "twenty seconds through" *press replay*

  • I like Benvolio's clothes, they fit him alright, unlike the rest...BLAHBLAHBLAH!

  • blah blah blah blah!! XD

  • man....even though Tybalts a dick.....HE'S HOT xD

  • best Mercutio performance EVER

  • We finished reading romeo and juliet in english class and i played juliet and im also dating the guy that played romeo haha and.....Tybalt is extremely hot in this movie haha ;D

  • We just finished reading this in my english class last week. The classmates were chosen to play certain parts and I got to play mercutio and I was thrilled because he's my favorite character. But it was really awkward cause I'm a girl playing a guy, but then again a girl was playing Romeo too. After watching this, my acting was nothing compared to his.

  • why must they allways kill the best characters in films?

mercutio...romeo...juliet...darth vader...tybalt...sidius...kyle reese...2nd terminator...sarah connor...bobba fett...and everyone else that i won't type because i do not wish to bore everyone with a million comments and words

  • I love this. It's officially my favorite scene. xDD. Blah, blah blahblah blahh.

  • Its seems to me that Tybalt didn't plan on killing Mercutio, If romeo didn't get in the way none of them would've died

  • @SegaGuy7 actually, if mercutio were never born, none of it would have happened.

  • i know,huh

  • nasty tights

  • Mercutio was my second favorite character... :(

    1. romeo

    2. Mercutio

    3.Tybalt

  • romeo kinda looks like zac efron towards the end

  • thanks fjessop!! Your'e awsome for putting this on youtube!! I really needed to watch this particular scene. Thanks a million!

  • Dannng! I was watching this in my class and i thought DANNNNG! These men are hot in this movie!

To me, I love Benvolio! I liked him that most !! :DD <3333

  • I Hate mercutio. he is so ugly i mean just look at his face or dont cause why would you want to do that? I HATE romeo even more. and i dont care about about many of the other characters either. the only character i like is Tybalt. =) i love him. he is so hot!

  • @gallahad8 You shouldn't judge movies and/or people based on their appearances. From your picture, you're pretty ugly yourself. I am merely judging you by your crude comment. How about you learn to appreciate Shakespeare's fine works instead of hating characters because they aren't "hot" enough?

  • @xDrickk Amen to that?

  • 4:10-4:13

    Funny stuff right there

  • I like his little "Blehh" at 0:19 XD

  • They would kill the funny guy. At least he was avenged, good Mercutio...

  • they missed out on the whole part of tybalt coming back and getting killed by romeo. :(

  • @LolBaby642 xD same here

we were watching it in english i had to bite myself just so i would not scream with laughter...

i like laughing so i laugh loudly

  • at 7:45 Romeo looks like Zac Efron :)

  • @nikepeat2011 Technically, Zac Efron looks like Romeo =3

  • @jackelins2 true :p

  • Mercutio and Benvolio are the best characters in the play.

Mercutio is hilarious and Benvolio is caring and selfless.

  • My class started laughing at 3:01

  • I liked this video....but the only part I DID NOT LIKE was when Mercutio said "blahblahblah". Like, he could have said something from the script/story instead of just saying blahblahblah.... But I like everything else Mercutio did in this video :)

  • 0:07 bahaha gotta love mercutio

  • Love the language!

  • Mercutio is the best character in Romeo and Juliet.

Everyone else is either a pussy, an asshole, or a dipshit.

  • @LiamSwan2011 yea i agree mercutio is the best

  • NUTCUPS!!! :D awesome.

  • gotta love mercutio

  • abladblahblah i absolutely love mercutio

  • "Make it a word and a blow" mercutio

  • My favourite in this scene(and in the whole story - in book and film) is Tybalt. I think that he is very good. When he cuts Mercutio... he didn't want it,he wants to stay there (and help - i believe).

Personalla, I state: Tybalt is more handsome than Romeo (for me)

    :)) Bonniewayfarer

  • ROFL BLAHBLAHBLAH

    favorite part right there

  • romeos so cute<3

  • @makeupcouture07 That is sooooo funny

  • Marcuzio....lovely....(la maledizione di Marcuzio)!!!!

  • Tybalt, Mercutio, Romeo and Benvolio are so hot in this movie!!! I love the tights :3

LMFAO @ Blah blah blah blah XD

  • @makeupcouture07 I KNOW!! we watched this at school and i kept telling people that!! lol oh and Romeo is way better looking :)

  • nice tights, tybalt!

  • when he's doing the blah blah blah's he sounds like jim carrey

  • Man, when you read the book Tybalt intentionally kills Mercutio, but in this movie he does it accidently while they were having fun instead of being all serious.

  • @UrLuvIsMyMurder and...?

  • @TheGamingCorps They should've done it as Shakespeare intended it.

  • @UrLuvIsMyMurder The book?

  • @YaleBreaker Well it's more of a script; it has all the lines and actions that Shakespeare had written down, the way the play was meant to be.

  • @UrLuvIsMyMurder Well, there's no existing original copy of the manuscript, so I'm guessing that's editorial interpretation. The script I'm going on (one of the early unauthorized versions) makes no distinction as to when they get serious. Remember that Mercutio is in the Prince's family, and Tybalt therefore has good reasons to just whup Mercutio's ass as opposed to actually killing him.

  • i was crushing on benvolio in this movie. romeo hasn't got nothing on him.

  • Dear god! Are their outfits distracting!

  • I really like that they played the fight as if the two guys were kidding around and Mercutio was killed by accident. That's an interesting take.

  • I'm Mercutio for Shakespeare at my school

  • @aimory1 nice, I'm Juliet.

  • What kind of hat is Benvolio wearing?

  • Benvolio/ Bruce Robinson is so hot in this. Lol.

But why is mercutio, everyones favorite character, NEVER portrayed handsomely? :P

  • @spongebobslushpants1 I think Mercutio's pretty handsome XD

  • @spongebobslushpants1 The character of Mercutio is funny, witty and sad. That is why he is a sympathetic character that people like. It's not all about being "handsome"

  • @spongebobslushpants1 My favorite it Tybalt, but no one but me ever likes him :(

  • 0:37 I love his walk!!

  • I sooo cried when Mercutio was dying. :(

  • @Fireheart131 Hahaa, I think he sounds more like Squilliam. XD

  • my class was watching this, after we read the end of Act ll last Scene, and this came on(bleh bleh bleh). nbv hgvbnc fgcvhgvbjhbj omg, you have no clue how funny it was

  • 'The Capulets abroad' 'Ahahahaaaa BLEEEEH.' LOL :)) Gotta love this scene

  • Shakespeare - the inverter of skinny jeans(skinny pants)

  • shakespeare had to kill off mercutio he distracted form the storie. mercutio basically was to fun and the share holders of the glob theater didnt like that so he had to die. so stop saying romeo was stupid for doing that in all reality it was shakespeares fault. so yeah....

  • @RavenSunnyD Actually, it was probably intentional on Shakespeare's part, because his death marks the point where the play stops emulating the formula of a comedy.

  • Blahblahblahblahblahblah.....I couldn't stop laughing.

  • romeo you idiot! why did you have to get in the way and get mercutio killed then act like it was tybalt's fault

  • stop at 0:08 and stair... you WILL have the sudden urge to put a cloth over you head and walk around saying BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA BLAAAA

  • Tybalt sounds like Proffesor Snape.

  • @thirteenismyluckyno he is professor snape

  • @Noxor0 Not in this version :)

  • i would kill for mercutio's outfit here OMFG

  • 0:12

    ZOMG

  • You can tell that Tybalt didn't mean to kill him by the look on his face.

  • hey there zac

  • thumbs up if the only reason you clicked this video was to hear mercutio go "BLAHBLAHBALH"

  • @starwarsfan117 that's exactly why i was looking for this lmfaolmfaolmfao <333333

  • @Ellis9549 hehe yeah i gotta say it is the funniest part of the entire film

  • I love they way Mercutio and Tybalt team up to shove Romeo away! >.<

  • gay gay gay gay GAY.. WHY MISS WHYYYYYYY?!?!?!?! FAGGOT BITCH

  • @bbbmx1 fighting while speaking poetry - genius! It beats dialogue like "eat lead muthafucka" though that's more macho

  • @heliotropezzz333 ur gay. retract that statement. poetry sucks. fighting is fun with eatled mothafucka..
