for all ios: Must have Jailbroken iphone and iFile or SSH and depends what carrier u used before giffgaff. For 02 network I did with iFile: Sytem/ Library /Carrier Bundles / Iphone/ then scroll down to your carrier, mine was O2_UK.bundle/ carrier.plist then edid with text viewer and look for VoicemailPilotNumber under this there is a key 9011 needs change to 443, then scroll down again untill u see another 9011, change again to 443 then save and reboot. .

If you get an error it means you're running 32bit, not 64. Still a good tutorial though :)

i have let the iphone sync, ive done the "check for update" and done that all, turned off my iphone, turned it on again, but it still says O2 at the top? any reason why this might have happened??

i have an iphone 3gs with the newest software on it, will this setup work on it? i really need help plz :L and also when doing this to my iphone should i have an acivated giffgaff sim card in it? great vid btw:D

If you installed this to iOS 3.1 and it works fine could you then upgrade to iOS 4?

@TheGeekCoolGuy You can do but you lose all the loveliness :-(( Apple now digitally sign the carrier bundle files so it doesn't work on iOS 4 I'm afraid

Yh very usefull but i am getting an iPhone 4 and wondering is this going to work? and what happens if i get it wrong ? Because i am getting the sim down to size and can i use a O2 iPhone 4?
